The Chicken Littles here run around screaming saying its over, its over. Yeah when the initial news about Kerry came in four years ago, this forum was so still you could hear a pin drop.

How about rioting? Was there any rioting in Dixville Notch after the vote?

Those totals can’t possibly be correct. McCain is going to mop the floor with Obama. I’ve been reading it for days here on FR, so it must be true. ;^0

LOL.

I needed a laugh!

First Democrat to win Dixville Notch since Humphrey in 1968.

Who lost to Nixon in what was another historically high turnout election. This is probably a good thing, not a bad thing.

NH is no longer a GOP redoubt. The demographic changes in New England are permanent.

NH will probably go Obama.
I mean, did anybody expect it not to go for him?

So Dixville Notch has only 20 registered voters yet 21 votes were cast?

ACORN must have an office there.

Yes, Bush won that town by a bigger margin 4 years ago, and look what good it did him in NH.

Based on past results, this may not be indicative of anything at all. It’s just something for us to munch on 18 hours before the polls close.

There is not much retired military left in Guam, so you may be correct in Obama winning the Guam vote.

I do believe, McCain will win the national electoral vote.

New England is liberal to the core — a lot of conservatives moved out when they could find jobs elsewhere. Spent nine miserable months in MA in the mid 80’s and couldn’t wait for the assignment to be over and the movers to show up to get out of New England.

"Getting excited your man is going to win, huh?"

Whatever you're trying to insinuate, you are wrong. I have no man in these candidates.

Obama won it but Hillary won the state. So the vote is only indicative of how New England will go. McCain hasn't spend any time in the region apart from NH and even that may be a forlorn hope.

Oops. I just looked it up. Bush DID win the Notch in 92. I was thinking of the Primary where Marrou got more votes than any Republican or Democrat.
