Let not your heart be troubled; DIXVILLE NOTCH WENT FOR B. HUSSEIN IN HIS PRIMARY AGAINST HILLARY. (She won the Primary.)

This is the Obama Effect. These folks don’t want the rest of the world to think their little town is racist.

Since Barack Obama can trace them down they dare not vote against him lest they get the Joe the Plumber treatment.
Private voting will be much different.

come on - a total of 21 people? and you're losing it? Hang tough friend! It is going to be a long 24hours+ but we will prevail “Dixville Notch” not withstanding - we may even win NH... I think we can “rally back” from our 9 vote deficit. So let's get tough and get going -- influence what you can, vote, drive someone to the polls, call a friend in PA or OH... fight the good fight and we will prevail

I am from NH and will be voting McCain/Palin tomorrow morning. My mind was made up months ago. That said.
Dixville Notch can be an outlying data point. For example Hillary got no votes there but won the NH popular vote this spring. In 1996 Dixville residents went for gubernatorial candidate Ovide Lamontange (R) when in reality Jeane Shaheen (D) won the election by a large margin.
I am hoping what we all are. That this is an outlying data point as is often the case.

I’d like to know how the local demographics have shifted. How many RATs moved in just to get such a result?

According to Donna Kaye Erwin, the supervisor of the voter checklist, Dixville Notch has five registered Democrats, four Republicans and 11 undeclared voters. CNN.

Hopefully a better trend predictor will come from Guam.
With polls closing in 4 1/2 hours, Guam has been voting for president in every general election starting with 1980. It has always voted for the person who became president.

Those totals can’t possibly be correct. McCain is going to mop the floor with Obama. I’ve been reading it for days here on FR, so it must be true. ;^0

At the end of the day, all this means is Obama has a 9-vote lead in New Hampshire with 99.99% of the polls yet to close. If you haven’t yet gotten a grip, please do.

I have to say it was rather humorous to watch how “worked up” so many Freepers got over the votes of 21 people in NH. :-)
