This is a good question, and it's not too early to ask.

Consider this, my FRiends, many folks (and I know some) voted for Marxist Obama because of his presence, looks, and ability to deliver a speech.)

Thus, I believe that if we had Mitt Romney as our standard bearer, we would have won the "swayed by superficial impressions vote".

Now, I also like Mitt for his conservatism and quick intelligence, but I believe that we simply must not ignore the GLAM part next time.

There's something else I need to say (and I'll repeat it a few times on other threads.)

I didn't vote for McCain. But I have no hard feelings toward him. He did a good job but he was (and we were) no match for the media jihad against us.

It won’t matter.

The same forces continue to manufacture the coming supermajority of secular humanist totalitarian socialists:

- the pagan academies AKA socialist government schools
- the liberal media
- Hollywood, and
- our feckless, milquetoast, seeker sensitive “christian” churches

If we want to change America, we need to return to the foundations. We need our pulpits to be manned by righteous truthtellers, not moral relativists.

We need to repent of some serious national sins (eg. 50M abortions), and we need to stop compromising and choosing unGodly leaders.

I didn't vote for McCain.

Oooooops! I neglected to add... in the primaries.

I, OF COURSE, voted for McCain and Palin in the general.

Only once, but that's just me.

We don't know the future--in Jan. 2001, we didn't know 9/11 was coming. At the time of the Republican convention, it still looked like McCain might win--then the financial meltdown happened. So there is too much uncertainty. Assuming the country hasn't been laid waste by Iranian nukes by 2012, Obama could be hard to beat no matter how badly he does, because the media will be 100% on his side (Brit is retiring and talk radio may be forced off the air)...anything that goes wrong will be blamed on Bush.

Let's hope no nut makes Biden President. If Obama is still around in 2012 and we have a real election, not a Zimbabwe-style farce, Jindal might be a good bet...but there could be some new figures emerge. None of the old style white bread types are likely to run well against Obama--if a genuine war hero couldn't beat him, what does Romney or Huckabee have to offer?

First and foremost we gotta give the GOP an enema and get rid of the RINOs.

Second, Hussein has raised the bar to a new level, 600 million. We better start saving now because it is going to cost a lot, lot, lot of money.

We have yet to learn how much Sarah was trying to listen to her Mac “handlers”. Those bad interviews and not sitting down with others who would not have edited the interview was a big mistake, but probably was not her choice. McCain’s biggest mistake was not going against the Bail Out. Him being a “Maverick” sounded phony after that.

“Rush/Palin ‘12”

-

Now that could be a very interesting, unintended consequence of the marxist “fairness doctrine”.

Rush Limbaugh, running for office.

Bobby Jindal would be a top contender. I would have loved to Mitt this time, I think we would be seeing a very different scene played out tonight, but by 2012 he will be 65, we need younger people.

I think Sarah is damaged goods. She wasn’t ready and it showed. I loved her and she was the only reason I voted for Juan, but she is not presidential material. Sometimes some people get hung up on people who are very conservative, but not really qualified for the position, i.e Sarah and Duncan Hunter. We need quality people who have strong records to run on and great speaking skills because we will always be running against the media.

Biden would have been preferable to Obama. Now that the election is over, Biden will be shifted way to the back. Not even an advisor. Hillary (as much as I hated her) would have been better. I do expect us to retool the GOP - Conservatives need to enforce their will on the RNC.

Haley Barbour in 2012.

I wonder if Palin is thinking about running against Lisa Murkowski in 2010. It wouldn’t be a Repo pickup in the Senate but would keep Palin the national spotlight. Just a thought...

i think that Hillary is going to be Obama's running mate in 2012... Biden will step down at that time...

I predict Satan himself will run...AND WIN.

America is a country of blithering idiots, freeloading @ssholes, and racist MoFos.

We deserve what will undoubted be a hellish next four years...

P.S. - A special thanks to that stupid POS George W. Bush for keeping the borders open for millions of illegal invaders, and finally for enabling a racist Muslim Marxist to be President of this dumbass country.

Or Palin/Rush.

Probably better this way as she has executive experience.

I’d be happy either way.

And let’s put Quinn in Congress in PA and Levin in the Senate.

What we desperately need are conservatives with the voice of Regan. We simply can’t get through.
