ATTN FREEPER / BUSINESS OWNERS: Fire a Liberal Tomorrow — it'll make you feel better...

Fire a Liberal — it'll make you feel better...

I for one intend to do it tomorrow... NY is a right to Work State, I can fire anyone i want for any reason or for no reason (as long as it isn't racial or gender discrimination)...

Their are a handful of spoiled self-righteous twenty-somethings who work for me... they have no idea what my politics are and have shamelessly worked on Obama stuff at the office... like all narcissist's, they assume everyone thinks like they do... tomorrow two of them will learn the hard way that they were wrong...

Here is what I intend to say:

“The election of a Democratic President and legislature, means that I now view our business prospects in the near and midterm future as extremely challenging... Consequently, I have chosen to immediately implement a series of cost-cutiing measures that include reductions in headcount. Ordinarily, I would do everything in my power to protect your jobs. Ordinarily, I would find making a decision like this difficult and painful... However, these are not ordinary times. This was no ordinary elections. And my decision is not difficult. You have chosen in the past several months to bring your political views into the work place... so it is no secret to me that you have been active in supporting the very democratic candidates who I believe will threaten the very existence of this business... You are apparently, not interested in the welfare of this business and the people it provides with jobs. Subsequently, I'm not interested in employing you. Today is your last day. You'll be paid a two-week severance. You are entitled to COBRA health care benefits as described by law. You are probably entitled to unemployment benefits, but you'll have to pursue that on your own. If you choose to use me as a reference for future employment, I will give a true and faithful account of your performance here, but will also describe my reasons (as outlined above) for terminating you.

You may think that this decision is harsh and perhaps unfair — but no person is immune from the consequences of their actions and decisions. Grownups live their politics — and know you must live yours.

I wish you well and good luck in your future endeavors.”

Please take pictures and share them so we can savor the looks on their faces. I would love to be a fly on the wall when you do that. Reality bites.

Letting 17 go tomorrow, 10 more before Christmas. No more charity, no more major purchases, I will be selfish until this country returns to the principles that it was founded on.

Also, I will not support any of the RINO commentators on Faux News. They have been cheerleading all night. If you spend a dime or watch a show you get what you deserve...

let me get my hands on that Barbara Streisand LP of mine... if I had one. Seriously , the brain drain of senior MD’s retiring is going to damage medical care in this country to the breaking point over the next couple of years as they roll government interference into every practice.

I’ve got to say, that’s a bit harsh.

Even if it's a “Right to work state,” you still have to make a case, or they will sue for a “wrongful discharge.”

Don't say that it was because of political differences. If they were performing non-work related tasks while on-the-clock, write them up. Track their internet usage. They'll use it for non-work-related uses. Write them up. Create a paper trail and then fire them.

You don't want to get sued, make them famous, and put cash in their pockets. If you want to fire them, fine. But be smart about it.

And I agree. Eff them. No more Mr. Nice Guy. It's gotten us nowhere.

like a target. I will fight back!

Since Oct 2, 2008... what kind of man are you? You let them work on your time for Obama in the office and now, that the race is over, you plan to fire them? you don’t sound too bright.

Tell me what’s classy about providing a job for someone who wants to take money out of MY pocket? Who wants to prevent me from leaving my daughter the money I EARNED?

You know what is “class-less”?

Thinking that you have an “inaleniable right” to a job you didn’t dreate — while you work to undermine the person who gave you that job...

No more smiling everyday at people who can’t create but feel totally entitled to take what I create...

I’m F-ing sick of it. “Want to take my property and ruin my country? Well, it’s a free country (for now) so go for it — but not on my dime a$$hat”

If you would retain or terminate an employee based on their political preferences, I can’t imagine their position to be terribly important to your business.

I am curious what will happen BUT remove any hard copy words like “Democrat” or “Obama” on the termination letter to protect yourself legally.

Right now, playing by the rules while the enemy consorts with ACORN to steal away our elections...go ahead. I don’t care at this point. I am completely devoid of any emotions. Make em suffer.

If they're good workers - for God's sake - don't fire them. We'll get the dems back - history shows us that. We just have to be patient and fight back in the meantime.

A private firm can hire and fire, as long as there is no racial or sex discrimination, at will.

fire a lib...no but there is something employers should start doing

1: any increase in taxes should be posted on the employees check stub on a seperate line. any and all taxes and gov fees.
2: include the cost of benefits they pay 100 for health, you show that you pay 300.
3: same with unemployement ins...soc sec...etc(the part the company pays)

let the employees know how this stuff directly effects them.

as long as they live in a vacum, not knowing this is what you get.

educate a liberal...not fire

Actually, firing people is not a bad idea.

You know Obama is going to greatly increase the burden on employers. In France it’s almost impossible to fire anyone - that’s why unemployment is endemic. People won’t hire someone they can’t fire. That’s why France has the business growth of a slug.

If Obama looks like he’s going to push any of those draconian laws (and who here thinks he won’t?) the best thing you can do is get rid of what employees you can afford to.

Why? I think it’s a dandy idea. I don’t know about telling why though.

If they're productive employees, you should keep them on. Productivity matters more than politics.

I hate Obama's politics more than anyone's. The only silver lining in Obama's victory is the fact that this country has come so far since the Jim Crow days. Who would have thought 40 years ago that we'd elect a president in so short a time? I only wish it could have been a black president with politics like Michael Steele or Thomas Sowell or J.C. Watts. But that wasn't to be. Still, that's the silver lining I see in it. It makes it a lot tougher for people to accuse America of being a racist country. Anyone agree?

There is a lot to be said for restraint of tongue and pen when one is angry. Conservatives have class and are fighters, but haters? No. That is what differentiates us from the Liberal Demons. They will do anything when they are angry.

Allow yourself anger and disappointment for a few days, but do not act from that place. Get your house in order and fight for real change for our country. Firing a liberal is just a cheap shot in anger. You aren't going to change any hearts or minds that way. You are just going to piss people off. If they are doing their job let them be. Take a time out and find an area that you want to make real change in politics and work there with a group of folks of like mind. You clearly are on fire and have a lot of passion put it toward change that will matter in the long run my FRiend.

Liberal employees usually work themselves out of their positions it has been my experience.
