Liberal areas always report last.

The other bright spot would have been Murtha losing, unfortunately, he didn’t

I guess Pennsylvanians find that being insulted - and being told one of their primary sources of income being taken away - just isn't enough to NOT vote for someone!

Murtha brings home pork to his district. That’s all they care about.

Based on the areas that have not reported... this looks grim.

I think I’ll call it a night...

That FReeper ad showing Franken joking about Al Queda clearly hurt. It ran on TV and on local stations.

Hilarious. An election like this, and it's still not The Franken Decade.

I know that the public hates Bush, but how on earth could a million people vote for Al F’n Frankin? I do not recognize this country. I must say for all of McCain’s weaknesses (and he has many) I do agree with a common thread of the last eight years-—BUSH’s FAULT. Clinton had Begala, Carville Stephanopis, Ann Lewis, et al, on TV every freaking night explaining to us how we didn’t see what just happened happen. Many drank the cool aid and he even survived OJ type evidence. Bush has been nearly invisible except to announce another crisis. Who is his Carville (ever see Rove before the last few weeks)? Who is his Begala? His own freaking Press Secretary (not to mention his Secretary of State) voted for Obama. The guy who thought Harriet Miers was a good Supreme Court pick and didn’t discover a VETO pen until
health care for children came up, f’ed this party royally. It may take many years to recover if we ever can.

I'm always impressed by people whose first instinct is to finger-point when something goes wrong.

This does not look good at all. Too many heavy Democrat areas haven’t reported.

I’m having a hard time thinking otherwise myself... St. Louis County and Hennepin County are the big ones outstanding. Stearns is also, which might be good news for us... but I’m not sure.

88% of precincts reporting and Coleman just got a bump - 12,000 votes ahead.
