With about 85% of Precincts reporting Nancy Boyda is down about 13000 votes and that looks like the end of her sorry tenure.

D-Nancy E. Boyda 12504 43% 135097 46%

R-Lynn Jenkins 15121 52% 148261 51%

Boyda has already conceded.

That was at least a bright spot in my day.

Well that's good to hear, to these Missourian ears... Does anyone know if they were able to get rid of Dennis Moore as well? I'm not going to hold my breath.

Unfortunately I'm in the MO 5th district, so Cleaver is in, and the dems will probably always have a solid lock on that district, at least as long as the public government schools are failing.

Knocked off Don Cazayoux (D) in Louisiana also.

Can’t stand Boyda. At least there is some right about Kansas. Glad Topeka will have a good Congresswoman!

Gee, I helped MAKE HISTORY tonight by voting against Nancy Boyda. It’s all about the “history” from now on, hopefully including the “history” of seeing the first one term mixed race President leave office in four years (or maybe less if Tony Rezko sings).

It was never about her. It was Ryun the 2nd District rejected. He was a Washington slug that only remembered Kansas when it was election time.
He even lost in the primaries this time.
Given an alternative Boyda was gone.

Ugh. And on the MO side, Cleaver won again - He'll do so until he has had enough. But I'm pissed that Jay Nixon is the Governor. I wish I could trade with Alaska.

Moore is like a deeply embedded tick. I’m not sure how he will get ousted.

Nope. Moore won by about 15 over Jordan. It was extremely disappointing. Steve Howe won the DA race however so that remains in Republican hands.
