Poor woman. She had to endure the vilest slander and libel of herself and her family to to drag John McCain’s sorry ass anywhere near the White House. And now she feels like it’s her fault they lost. Sarah, you’re our hero and the hero of millions, and regardless of how the future turns out, that will not change.
To: Tennessee Nana
Mrs. Palin,
Dittoes to what’s on here, plus one comment:
You have not one bloody thing to apologize for. “You betcha” you don’t.
I am reminded of a Bible verse, about a light shining in the darkness...and the darkness couldn’t comprehend it.
I hope that you were as blessed by us as we were by you.
Take a well-deserved rest, and may the Lord bless you and your (soon to be extended) family!
P.S. to quote Lady Thatcher, “Don’t go wobbly on us!” (not that you would...)

The McCain people should be apologizing to her for how they mishandled her roll-out after the Convention.the charlie gibson and katie couric inquisitions come to mind. that was insane to let sarah do those.

The stock market crash was just too much to overcome. The law of averages was against a Republican winning anyway. I have a feeling most of the white voters for Obama will being experience buyers remorse real soon.

Exactly...Sarah deserved a better running mate.
Sarah Palin kept McCain from being one of the biggest losers in Presidential election history. She has no one to apologize to.
McCain was an embarrassment as a candidate. Sarah kept him from looking totally foolish

I just sent her an email and told her she had nothing to apologize for. That she was the power of his failing campaign until she came aboard. I encouraged her to continue the fight and that if she decided to run again, we would vote for her again. Here is the email if you want to send one:

I think lots of Sarah, too. She certainly is not to blame for McCain's loss. McCain, IMHO, was a flawed candidate from the git-go, with at least three strikes against him starting before the race: 1. the perception people had that he was a crotchety, hot-headed, vindictive old man who paid little attention to his constituents; 2. McCain-Feingold and what it did to free speech without fixing the money-in-politics problem; 3. Amnesty for illegal aliens - opposed by nearly 3/4 of the American people. He may have made “nice” for the campaign, but did nothing to even recognize the concerns voters had for those problems, much less address them as a sitting Senator. We must start looking for candidates to start returning our country to Constitutional guidance, vetting them now, and for the next four years.

It isn’t her fault McCain was such a bad candidate and the environment for republicans was so bad. McCain would have lost no matter who he picked as his VP. He wasn’t good enough of a candidate to overcome the MSM and Obama’s money.

Karl Rove said the same thing on FNC. He very prominently told the talking heads who started with this story that after Sarah was named, contributions increased 40% overnight, and they went from begging for volunteers to having too many volunteers to handle.

Governor, you are the reason I donated first time to the RNC — the very moment you were making your nomination acceptance speech.

Were it not for Sarah Palin, McCain would have had a lot less votes. Since inspite of our distaste for Juan McCain, she inspired us to do what we knew we had to do regardless.
No, she didn’t cost him votes. She gained him untold votes.
Sarah Palin 2012!
