I like Jindahl and think he would be an excellent choice for President or Vice President. I just happen to feel, on a personal level, that we are continuing to allow that pile of crappola...the media...to dictate our candidate....Sarah Palin didn’t have a chance...the media used the most disgusting tactics to hurt her...she wasn’t ‘taught’ anything about the reality of the lower 48 and it’s meaness in politics....think about it...she was given the nod...accepted it...all within a week or so of the convention...and then bang...out on the trail...what kind of preparing someone is that? McCain picked her because she is attractive, popular, intelligent and a WOMAN...but he didn’t do anything to keep her like that and make her a Vice President...but, then, we know him...the Maverick (excuse me I just choked on my coffee)...he wouldn’t have allowed her to be a real officer in his administration....he would have used her as women have been used many times...a pretty thing on his arm. Bobby Jindahl...right now...a good choice in my book....but Sarah Palin should not be pushed out the door because that jerk with her didn’t win.
What scares me the most is Obama appearing to save the world all anti christ like with globalization and his global povert act.

Did they pick Sarah instead of Jindal because they figured they were going to lose, and rather than attach Jindal, and harm his chances in 2012, they chose Sarah, and essentially set her up? She took the challenge because she is true servant, and saw it her duty. But now I’m just wondering.

That is true on FR and other conservative sites, but there are still many people who only get their news from the MSM and parrot what they are told. That’s why the Fairness Doctrine is so powerful. While we care enough to find out the truth behind the media spin, lots of voters don’t bother and just take what they are told.
“I’ve often thought that the founding fathers got it right,” Jindal said. “They wanted the states to be laboratories of experimentation, and they wanted the federal government to learn from what works in each of these states.”
Jindal blamed this year’s GOP’s losses on the party straying from the themes of fiscal conservatism, anti-corruption and policy innovation that worked in the previous decade. “You can’t beat something with nothing,” Jindal said. “For too long it seemed the Republican message was, ‘vote for Republicans because the other side is worse.’ And that’s simply not a good enough reason to win elections.”
Jindal gets it and he’s smarter than most Republicans twice his age. I suspect that Jindal and Palin, regardless of what office they run for, will be the true leaders of the GOP for a long time.

It’s possible, but I’m pretty sure Jindal didn’t want the job. He’s a very young first term Gov. and I think he knows better than to get caught up in the national scene when his ideas and resources are better set in Louisiana for now.
I am not sure we will ever see a white male US President ever again.

Maybe mccain knew he was in a no win situation, with Bush on one hand and superstar Obama, the MSM and $650 million on the other. So what can you do if you know it’s inevitable? Give up and wipe out the entire downticket?

Palin is history guys, maybe a senate seat but nothing else, the media has destroyed her beyond repair, too many people alreday bought what the media was selling, time to move on.
well...it may be that Alaska is the only state that won’t go into recession.
