It was filmed by Finns studying US schools. It is evidence that this teacher is so stupid she doesn’t think she did anything wrong—because she did this even though they were videotaping.

How can anyone home school in the reality of today’s economy and a new pro-higher taxes President? It takes two parents working full time and then some just to get by these days. Who would have time or resources to home school? And maybe that is the EXACT intention and desired end result of the leftists.

Ever try to run for the school board? I have. If you don’t have the backing of the teachers you can not possible win. In order to get the backing of the teachers you can not wish to change anything. Once they find out what you stand for if you didn’t have an opponent, they will find one and you will lose. Even the teachers that may agree with you eventually will not support you because they are afraid and they have every reason to be afraid.

"The Justice Department of the United States should be investigating these situations and prosecuting offending teachers. They should also be looking at universities and demanding they get some semblance of balance in them or lose federal funding."

Uh...you guys obviously need a reality check. You're talking "as if" we conservatives actually have some stroke and/or some power here. We don't. We just LOST any power we may have had (emphasis on "may"). If we didn't or couldn't do anything about this leftist bias bs before Tuesday, what makes you think we can do anything about it now?

And for the record.....the word "should" (as in should have) is about as big as the word "if" (as in if only). "We should have been able to do something while we controlled all three branches of the government, but we didn't. If only we had done something when we could have done something." See what I mean?

None of these battles will be won for at least another four years...and I have a feeling that the lefties will make damned sure we never get power again.

I hope I'm wrong.

We pay a lot for our child to go to Catholic school. I would do anything to keep my child out of this mess. This is child abuse.

The only thing shameful about the exchange is the surrender mentality expressed in it. I’ve had enough of you folks who don’t want to play hardball.

If you think your route to success has been successful, then you’re irrelevant to any fix.

The Democrats have captured our education system, something that is paid for with tax dollars. I want that reversed in the quickest possible time. I’m willing to oppose anyone who doesn’t.

Yes, we do need to band together. And we need to band together around nuclear options. If we don’t, this nation is lost. It’s on the brink of destruction now, and all I am seeing is folks who think we can win if we just play nice and act like mice.

You sacrifice for your freedom.

Sadly many people have made your argument when they had more freedom under Clinton and Bush. Do you find freedom worth it or not? That is your answer. You don’t.

The point was, we had the mandate to take these matters serious and we didn’t. We have known of these problems for what close to fifty years?

The Bush answer to education was simply to double the budget of the Department of Education in his first two years, set up the No Child Left Behind expression of Compassionate Conservatism, and act as if education was then fixed.

If we’re going to excuse this, act as if there is nothing wrong a few local tweaks can’t fix, then we aren’t just part of the problem, we are the problem.

You seem to have lost a mainspring in your Brain Housing Group somewhere if you think getting all pompous and nasty's going to get you any traction

Resistance requires numbers and cooperation and you don't seem to have the grounding, propensity or judgement for the job.

Recommend you chill for a while and try not to alienate too many potential supporters.

Yes, it is if you are going to ignore reality.

Do you or do you not think it is legal for our grade school teachers to be allowed to brow beat Conservative children over the head regarding their political beliefs?

When you figure the answer to that out, please get back to me.

If it was only happening in one school, fine. It is not only happening in one school. It is happening across this nation. It is a civil rights issue whether you wish to put your head in the sand or not.

If you don’t have the stomach for being a part of the fix, then that’s your choice. Our side has been filled with people who can’t quite grasp what is different between what the left is doing, and what we are doing.

What do you think Obama is going to rule like? Do you think he is going to couch his goals, try to play nice with Conservatives, plow some middle ground here? Of course you don’t, if you think about it.

When it comes to our side, some folks want us to moderate our tone, try to be conciliatory, don’t make waves. We have practiced this approach until we have practically allowed the left to destroy our cause.

McCain couldn’t quit find the gumption to call Obama on Ayers, his birth status, Axelrod, tax and spend, gut the military... on and on it goes.

No more Mr. Nice Guy here. If we want this nation to get back on track, we’re going to have to do something different. If you don’t have the stomach for it, you think folks who do have lost a mainspring, then perhaps you are in the wrong place.

As for the lame pompus and nasty charge, in case you hadn’t noticed, we just lost to pompus and nasty. Being sweet, nice, grandfatherly, above the fray didn’t work out too well did it.

Not every wrongful act is the basis of a federal case. The superintendent has expressed shock and dismay at the tape and promises a thorough investigation is underway and that this conduct is improper and not condoned by the Board.

Now, if you had a case where a school board directed or encouraged such conduct or a state law commanded it, you’d have another story.

In the meantime you are hotheatedly yapping about something you are totally uninformed about...the law.

Here fifi, perhaps it will help if you read my comments.

Do you or do you not think it is legal for our grade school teachers to be allowed to brow beat Conservative children over the head regarding their political beliefs?

When you figure the answer to that out, please get back to me.

Your thoughts about this are irrelevent to me until you understand this was a violation of the child's civil rights.

This is not just happening in this school. It is happening across this nation. It will continue to do so until the Justice Department steps in and slaps the living ---- out of the people who are doing it.

And no, I'm not buying into the Fifi approach on this. You still don't acknowledge this is a civil rights issue. Why am I pressing this point? Because there is more than this taking place in our public schools. I want them on notice that propagandizing our kids is forbidden. And this is a great entry point to that whole field of problems.

What's your suggestion for Universities? Do you want the locals to fight to get on faculty and fix it from within. In case you hadn't noticed, the universities aren't interested in Conservatives or even moderates being a part of their program.

I think the child was harassed and probably could sue the school board for damages. It still is not a federal case without state action—that is proof the school board knew and condoned this or ordered it.
