One day within the next 4 years the American people are going to be saying WTF have we done?

We've been setting ourselves up for this for a long time.

Universal registration will be one of the starting points and will be perfectly legal -- because we wanted to register convicted sex offenders ex post facto. In order to do that, "we" had to rule that there was no violation of civil liberties in mandating such registration with criminal (felony) penalties for failure to comply.

That's just one precedent firmly in place -- and it was okay because it was only for "them." But whenever you take anyone's rights away without duie process of law, you are putting your own rights at risk.

Sen. Roscoe Bartlett, R-Md

Bartlett is a House member not a Senator

“The brown shirts of the SA were formed from the criminal underclass of Germany.
Right now, there are over 2 million criminal prisoners and perhaps twice that many on probation or parole in the United States. The fastest way for Obama to create his SA would be to empty the prisons and issue the prisoners uniforms and guns to terrorize the population.”

This is right out of the first chapter of “The Turner Diaries”.

If you have never read it, just google the books’ name, and it will point the way to online copies or a .pdf downloadable file of the book. Get it - while you still can. All you need to read is the first few pages.

Yes, it was written by a racist neo-Nazi named Wiliam Pierce (recently deceased). But he was prescient in just how a gun-grabbing “security force” would come about.

Several weeks’ back, I made a “you read it here first on FreeRepublic” prediction, and I’ll restate it.

As most know, a huge number of black males are either incarcerated or are under parole supervision, and have criminal records. The numbers approach 30% of the total population of black males, possibly higher.

Watch for Obama to proclaim that - in the spirit of reconciliation, and to give these men a “new start on life” - he will issue mass pardons, releasing many from “overcrowded” prisons and wiping their records clean.

They’re gonna need emplyment, eh?

- John

“Before or after they start rounding up the JEWS because they’ve finished Rounding up the REPUBLICANS!”

Funny how the Nazi were Socialists and the left-wingers always call right-wingers “Nazi”, yet, it is the left-wingers who hate Israel and would round up Jews in a heartbeat. It ain’t the skinheads the Jew need to be worried about; it is the the left-wingers always screaming about Israel. When a left-winger says “Israel” they really mean “Jews”.

Amazing isn’t it? There are Jews that would vote for Nazi.

Yes ... I would imagine a 30.06 out of an M1 Garand would do the job quite well ... If I had one of course. ;)

What would the duties of the new internal military be exactly? Enforce borders? Oh no, we're using the real military for that already, aren't we? Added internal military members to help the local police?

I think that police forces are already militarized enough, don't you? They have APCs and machine guns fercryinoutloud.

ID checks in neighborhoods?

Cops can (and do) already do that in many locales. They stop and ID pretty much anyone they want, via "sobriety checkpoints," or "equipment checkpoints," or whatever euphemism they want to give them. And if you think those checkpoints were set up to catch drunks, I've got some swampland in Florida I'd love to tell you about. Or they just plain stop you if you're walking down the street.

Listening in on phone calls, internet? Talking to neighbors?

Again, not necessary - the NSA already does that w/ the willing cooperation of the telecomms, and the FBI seems more than happy to talk to the neighbors.

Policing dissidents?

Hm. Who have I heard complaining about the Feds and local police infiltrating dissident and activist groups in the last few years...?

Are we having fun yet?

Oh yeah [eyeroll].

You know what's really funny? You sound JUST LIKE the liberals and civil libertarians who've been squawking about the Patriot Act, Homeland Security, the NSA, etc.

You also sound JUST LIKE the people here on FR who were hollering about abuses under Clinton, when similar and worse have been done in the guise of fighting the terroriz.

I'm not sayin'....I'm just, uh...sayin'.

The filibuster will not exist come February, 2009. The 111th Congress starts in January, and it will set new rules that lower the threshold for overturning a filibuster to 51 or 55 seats. And then the filibuster simply goes away - it cannot be used.

Mark my words - the filibuster as we know it today is gone; it will be left as a hollow shell only so the Slavery Party (the Democrats) can claim they were “bipartisan” and left it alone with small changes. But it will be functionally eliminated.

I'm glad someone else is realizing this. Republicans talked about the "nuclear option" in the Senate back in 2004. You can be damned sure that the democrats will USE the "nuclear option" in 2009.

That will guarantee Obama a single term...if not less.

And you're assuming that Mr "Constitution is deeply flawed" Obama will not declare martial law, suspend elections or some other such fedgov nonsense if it looks like he's about to lose.

IMO, 2008 was the LAST chance for peaceful resolution.

Sounds like the Wafffen SS.

Those were military formations, infantry, armor, artillery, that belonged to the Nazi Party and not the German Army.

Be very afraid.

I’m wondering if Obama will want to federalize, arm and supply local police organizations.

That is EXACTLY how Hitler started. The Gestapo was only in Barvaria in the begining.

CNSF = something like Fidel’s “Local Committee for the Defense of the Revolution” or Hugo’s “Bolivarian Circles”?

The “True Believers” who will spy on citizens for the Obama revolution?

Well it looked like that was pretty much going to shut down the discussion.

I think I have a pretty good idea of how ready we all are to support and defend the Constitution from "ALL" enemies foreign and domestic. But, can we hold off on reaching personal critical mass. I think it might be helpful if we don't start sounding like irate "postal workers." Know what I mean?

I don't relish the thought of an extended stay at a "re-education camp," "gulag," or whatever euphemistic pleasant sounding little name they decide to call it. And because I understand what evil mankind is capable of when he's obediently following his messiah, I don't plan on quietly going there.

However, I am not prepared to show my hand and give the Trolls & Obama's Nazis a step by step plan of how I plan on not being re-educated. So if we could, let's continue to be outraged, share information, remain absolutely committed in our opposition to Obama's Gestapo and refrain from talking about calibers, kevlar, etc. What do you think?

I'm sure Obama's thought police are diligently taking names, and I'm sure I'm already on their naughty list.

Long live the Counter-Revolution! ! !

There will be no ‘civilian’ security force. Period.

I agree with you.

But what is troubling is 0bama's call for it. What is his intention ?

Why do we need a "security force" ?

Does he not know the historical implications of that, and how it would be perceived by the majority of Americans ?

What troubles me about 0bama, is how alien his ideas are to what America is, how they do provide a scope into the interior landscape of who he is.

Watch the youtube linked in the article.

His demeanor is unsettling.

Because he is going to do or implement something that he knows a LOT of people are not going to like?

Perhaps this is what Biden was alluding to.

The pretext would be an outside threat, but the response to it would not be popular: an internal security force.

Power. Obama in particular and leftists in general despise freedom. Such a force could have only one function suppression and control. That is why Hitler et;al have ALWAYS used such things.
