I saw most of this press conference. Unfortunately, the guy is a very good public speaker when dealing with prepared/rehearsed material or very simple, no-brainer questions. People here can nit-pick, but the public at large is going to hear someone who *sounds* competent and ready to work with everyone regarding the financial issues involved during the transition period, while declaring his clear understanding that he is not president, blah blah blah.
This all while behind the scenes he installs the chicago political dem machine into power, and pursues ruthlessly his agenda(s) to shape policy during the transition period.
Based on his speaking ability (aside from race, which also factored in without a doubt), I can certainly see why he was targeted for elevation from state legislator to presidential possible candidate a number of years ago.
I think Bill Clinton used to be late.

Just him. A sign of extreme immaturity, as is his affected serious mien and the constant gesturing with his hands and fingers. The President-Elect sign is his way of stating, 'I have arrived!'. Very insecure is the person who acts like this.
In a differently presented, yet in similar vain, episode I noticed how Oprah acted on her 'post-election show'. She came out screaming, and jumping up and down like some vagabond who had just won the Lotto. Quite opposite her usual manner of, again, like Obama, affecting a sober demeanor.
I once read something an Irish gal wrote that fits people like Obama Inc. very aptly - [they are] as phony as rocking horse shite.
It is really quite sad what an abysmal failure Obama’s Presidency already is. Impeachment would be a kindness to him! He can retire and write more stupid books and inane “poetry”.
