What bothers me most is how many FReepers were all too eager to fall for this Alinsky-esque scam.
As you know, this junior high school rumor-fest went viral with almost nobody asking if it made any damn sense!
He can deny all he wants, but I feel quite certain that the people behind it have the initials Rick Davis, Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace, and, yes, Juan McCain.
These sound like things that would be said by a jealous female. I’d start there.
Yep, this is rank gossip and no need to hide behind ‘sources’.
BTW Why is the bathrobe story bad? She is clearly comfortable w/ herself, her husband is as well, and it’s not like she walked around naked.

The question that comes to mind of course is, why did it take the McCain campaign people so many days to refute these ridiculous scurrilous attacks?

She made a bigger impact than any Republican since Reagan, and McCain deserted her.
This is a case of slander and libel.
You cannot lie this way even about a public figure.
These stories were patently untrue.
Making fun of a public figure is fine, of course.
But lies about specific incidents that damage character?
