Today on FOX News, Katon Dawson, head of the South Carolina Republican Party spoke out in support of Sarah Palin. Apparently he is the ONLY Republican to have done so. I think we shold CONTACT Mr. Dawson and express our support of him for supporitng Sarah Palin. Again, a check to the South Carolina Republican Committee might make sense. Mr. Dawson pointed out that the attacks against Palin are anonymous, are being spread by the leftist media, and if successful, will go on to smear Jindal, Sandford, etc, in the same way. His web site is: http://www.scgop.com/
The RNC is now headed by Mike Duncan, a silent figure in this controversy. His web address is http://www.gop.com/About/AboutBio.aspx?Guid=440ac9cd-8163-47f5-9c39-eb39d81a9b79
I would send him an e-mail or letter letting him know in no uncertain terms that NO money would be going to the RNC in the future if:
1)He doesn't find his testacles, backbone and intestines and SPEAK OUT in support of Palin
2) If that liberal Lungren gets a lead position in the House
I'd ALSO send a commincation to Senator John McCain, website http://mccain.senate.gov/public/
and tell him how angry and disappointed we are that he has not taken a more aggressive position in support of Palin and to shut up his operatives who are undermining the party.
Here is one for your favorites:
http://thomas.loc.gov/
Its the Library of Congress website. A great site to find out innformation on the traitors and sycophants in Washington, as well as the few good guys there, and what they are upto legislatively AS WELL as information on their websites.
As long as Mike Duncan is the head of the RNC, they can forget about getting ANY money from me.
Tell him. I will. And tell him why.
Chances are the communication will go through office staff first - and people talk.
We should be bombarding every Repub congressman’s email with a call to stand up to the media and these leakers and defend Gov Palin as a fellow conservative they are trying to destroy.
Inundate them. Forget the Rinos.
And yes, Mr. Dawson deserves our thanks. Will email him and thanks for the info.
Y’all need to get over it and accept that the GOP is a rotting corpse. If the main ones of the Party didn’t speak out for Palin within the first hour(!), then they never will.
Good to hear the kind words about Sarah from Dawson.
Yes need to purge Mike Duncan....he is about as bad as Senator Illegal Alien Mel Martinez. More Congressional losses
The only problem I have w Dawson is that Lindsey Grahamnesty got re-elected. Needed to purge that liberal in the primaries...and the DNC ran a more conservative candidate against him
GREAT! Where do I get it? I live in Jersey and up for fight.
“Yes need to purge Mike Duncan....he is about as bad as Senator Illegal Alien Mel Martinez. More Congressional losses”
BushBuddy Martinez gave the Repubs the midterm losses.
Schmidt was on H&C Friday, others have been interviewed by NRO, etc. Andy at NR said it best ....... McCain indignantly dumped on everyone who used Bambi’s middle name or mentioned the Rev Wright ..... where is he now?
BTW, that is one thing I love about Sarah, she WILL handle it. I trust her instincts and smarts.
The obvious explanation for McCain’s silence is that it is being done with his approval.
Check my history and you’ll see I’m not a GOP drone either. Still, this is pointless, asking the chiefs of the Corpse to speak out for Palin. It’s too little, too late.
There’s 4 years ahead of us for Palin and the world to see she’s more than still in demand.
“Schmidt was on H&C Friday,”
Who is Schmidt?
“Schmidt was on H&C Friday,”
Who is Schmidt?
Already sent.
He really IS a twisted, grotesque little dwarf.
The Drive By Media did its job well in getting him nominated.
McNutjob is never more fiery than when he is attacking conservatives.
Palin may be receptive to a third paty run based on the shabby treatment she got from McNutjob and the other mental pygmies and moral dwarfs in the GOP.
I am sick of some of these people on Free Republic saying terrible things about Sarah. They are pushing for Jindal or someone else.
The people who do not support Sarah need kicked to the curb.
agreed! thanks..I’ll be contacting these folks.
That would be only 9% of Republicans according to Rasmussen.
“They are pushing for Jindal or someone else.”
I like Jindal too. If the liberal press can blow Palin away, they will Bork and Quayle Jindal too - and anyone else who is conservative.
Their dream ticket in 2012 - McCain and Jeb Bush!!!!!
Heck yes.
I guess I think after all Sarah has been through. We owe her the nomination whenever she wants it. She is a natural leader.
If you stand Sarah Palin next to Bobby Jindal.. umm... Sarah Palin even looks stronger and more Presidential.
Steve Schmitt of the McCain campaign.
She might, and she might very well be the catalyst a third party has always needed. We’ll of course just have to see.
How anyone sane and rational can remain a member of the Corpse is beyond me at this point. (Yes, that’s my new pet word for the GOP. Cue up “that smell” by Lynyrd Skynyrd).
Precisely- McCain is one of those RINOs and the only thing he and Palin really agree on is the WOT and Right to Life (big things, true). But on protecting our borders, enforcing our immigration laws, keeping our country’s heritage, McCain fails miserably. He used her, and now she must be kicked to the curb because she truly is a Conservative by words, thoughts, and deeds. Whatever it takes, next time we need a real Patriot with the creds to go with it AND who can actually win. So far, Palin is the only one to fit that bill. This will have to be done in spite of the Media and Repub so-called leadership. Let the Revolution begin!
They haven't blown her away with her large base of support in the GOP and they know it. That's why the hits keep coming.
They did succeed in hurting her with Independents and some Democrats, especially women. That's why, in her first on-camera interview in Alaska she spoke forcefully about continuing to speak out on women's issues.
Smart gal, that Sarah.
Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!
I with her all the way.
We need to start a Palin movement like the Dems started an Obama movement. We have far more to use as ammo than the Obama supporters did.
“OReilly kept on watching and listening rather gleefully.
The reason?
OReilly kept on belaboring that Palin did not appear on his show.”
Great point.
I was glad Sarah didn’t go on his show. For some reason, O’Reilly is hard to trust completely.
