Minnesota US Senate Results (Franken Picks Up 17 more votes!)
Minneapolis StarTribune (aka The Red Star) ^ | 11/10/08 | MplsSteve

Posted on 11/10/2008 8:21:21 AM PST by MplsSteve

After a weekend of no change, Monday morning brings another 17 "missing" or "uncounted" votes falling into Carpetbagger Al's column - and the full recount hasn't even f***ing started yet!

These amended numbers are coming from the various county auditors as they check ballots before submitting 'em to the Secretary of State for the full recount. At thispoint, I do not know what county these votes could have come from - but I suspect they're from a county that Barack Hussein Obama and Carpetbagger Al won.

I'll let you know when I hear more!

Yeah, every article I have seen since the election ALWAYS finds votes for Stuart Smalley. Have they found even ONE more vote for Coleman? What’s up with that!

eerily similar to WA state gov race.

mysterious votes “forgotten” and “found” in a MPLS poll worker’s car.

Stealing the election... one fraudulent vote at a time... sigh... Repubs deserve to lose; they are gutless. There will be no fillibusters whether the Repubs have 43 seats or not...

Why should I care about this recount? One way or another the cost of nation building in Afghanistan and Iraq will be 30+ year of Dims rule and it will be very dim out here.

Unbelievable.

An election is being stolen right before our very eyes.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on your ‘untainted’ victory, Mr. Smalley. After all, I’m sure you’re going to ‘win’.

You've noticed that "mysterious" phenomenon of how only 'Rats seem to gain "votes" in these kinds of things. You watch, they'll keep "finding" so-called "lost" batches of ballots (usually in heavily 'Rat precincts), and when Frankenputz is ahead by a couple of hundred votes, well, then, shazamm, it's such a miracle, there are no more votes to count. Isn't that amazing?! Then they all will call for "unity" and "accepting the 'will of the majority'", and expect the 'Pubs to slink off to the sidelines with their heads down and tails between their legs.

I saw, f-that. If Frankenputz steals this, throw everything including the kitchen sink at them. The 'rats know if they steal this one and the one in AK and beat Chambliss in the GA runoff, they'll have 60 Senate seats and control cloture. They may have it anyway with Specter and McCain and Snowe and Collins in there, but if they have 60 outright they can really say like Rahm Emanuel, the 'Pubs can f-themselves.

So if Franken ends up with the lead before the recount do the Dems just call of the recount and say game over?

You’ve got that right! Keep counting until the Democrat wins, then STOP. Furthur counting is no longer necessary. The recounting is only to keep giving Democrats chances to win.

That is not correct. The MSM wants you to believe that the RATS can break a filibuster if the GOP only has 42 or 43 seats, and that is NOT TRUE.

A procedural vote in Congress — which includes a cloture vote — is a very unique experience. Every senator of both parties has to worry about future election cycles. If he has 42 or 43 GOP senators, McConnell will have enormous flexibility, because Lieberman will help McConnell and other RATS (such as Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas) will be looking to 2010 with trepidation. The union bill is a good example.

McConnell can keep his caucus together on cloture and other procedural votes; then “release” members to vote for something much, much less onerous on final passage. Or kill something altogether.

Please do NOT throw in the towel. The MSM is lying and is totally ignorant of legislative procedure.

So what are they going to do keep this charade going forever? What about all the military votes have they been counted? I know the military would rather give Franken a blanket party than vote for the idiot.

We will win all three: MN, GA, and Alaska. That is why Reid is shrewdly trying to keep Lieberman in camp. Reid knows that he won’t get to 60.

I know it is frustrating b/c the media is salivating over the prospect, but we will hold these seats.

Please don’t go depressed or defeatist. McConnell can wreak absolute havoc with the Obama agenda IF he has 42 or 43 GOP senators to work with. He just needs a little bit of flexibility.

Lets be realistic: They can change cloture vote rules to say 55. It has been done before and will be sone again. The track is being laid on a downhill grade. All the dembots have to do is let gravity (MSM brainwashing) do its job.

How’s that taking the “nuclear option” for judges working now???

Lots of wasted votes which could have gone to Coleman.

So we're not wasting our votes as long as we're voting for the guy who can most likely beat the worst guy?

You should point out to her that, if you don’t have a boat, a rising tide just drowns you.

i think that this proves RATS are too inept, stupid to run elections if they can’t keep track of the ballots.

why the good people of MN would want frankenstein to be their senator is beyond comprehension, unless they think the govt. is a joke.
