"Australian PM Kevin Rudd - “Nuke strike would make 9/11 insignificant” and other weird warnings"

"Over the last 72 hours there has been a strange melange of cryptic messages leaked from world political leaders about what could be in store for America over the next few months.

These predictions of impending doom come from England, France, Australia and the United States.

Biden told the top Democratic donors that a “generated crisis” will develop within six months and Barak Obama will need the help of community leaders to control the population as unpopular decisions are made and Americans resist.

Remember how the Left warned of Bush imposing martial law for 8 years? It seems the left knew, that when they got into power, they would impose martial law

"community leaders"

Hive-mind liberals have leaders, sovereign conservatives have public servants.

I looked at both a while back. Just curious. I ended up getting the 1100. Both great guns.

Boy, where to start with this one? First of all, I don't mean to offend anyone, but I don't understand why so many people have bought into the idea of a “rapture” when it is an idea not supported by a single biblical verse. Please read the prophets and the Revelation of John for yourself, don't rely on some half-brained theories of debunked 19th century quacks!

If you are not inclined to open the Book yourself, please allow me to quote a couple verses which clearly state that the Church will be bodily present on the earth during the period of the tribulation:

“For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.” - Mark 13:22

Comment: Yes this verse might be referring to any “antichrist” or false prophet throughout the ages, and not only to the tribulation, however, the clause about showing “signs and wonders” denotes, at least in my opinion, that the period referred to is inclusive of the end times, when we are specifically told by the Lord that the beast and false prophet will work such false miracles in the eyes of the world.

“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.” - Revelation 9:3-4

Comment: Now these verses clearly can only refer to the end times, not only because the entire book of Revelation is an account of the end times, but also because the “locusts” mentioned are released from the bottomless pit and led by a “king” called the “angel of the bottomless pit”. This event occurs after the fifth trumpet of the tribulation! Why in the world would these “locusts” be commanded to hurt only the men without the seal of God if all men sealed by God has already vanished from the earth? Do you believe that the Lord put superfluous and extraneous material in his Word for no apparent reason?

Moving on, the rest of your post is simply numerology, a practice that is frowned upon in the Bible to say the least. If you insist on practicing it to try and interpret current events in light of prophecy, could you at least please refrain from using Illinois lottery numbers as justification for your numerological interpretation of Scripture? I know the Lord may work in mysterious ways, but I can't believe He is sending signs to His faithful through a state-run gambling racket!

Don't get me wrong, part of me would love to be able to say that Obama is the antichrist and his judgement is coming soon, but the assertion seems ludicrous to me. Revelation describes the world empires, past, present, and future, including the world empire of the antichrist, for example:

“And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.” - Rev 17:9-11

Here are my thoughts on these verses, with regards to clues to the antichrist’s nation of origin. The seven mountains/kings are the empires that have ruled (or will rule) the (known) world. Five have fallen at the time John is writing. These are Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece. One exists during John's time, namely Rome. The seventh empire was not in existence in John's day. The beast (antichrist and his empire) “was, and is not”, ie the empire existed in the past as John was writing, but did not exist at that time. Thus it could not be Rome, but clearly is one of the previous five empires, returned to power in the future. Therefore, I think the antichrist will rise to power in one of these nations: ancient Egypt (modern Egypt, perhaps including parts of Libya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea?), ancient Babylon (modern Iraq), ancient Assyria (modern Iraq), ancient Persia (modern Iran), or ancient Greece (modern Greece, Macedonia, Cyprus, and including parts of Turkey and the Balkan states). If we broaden the interpretation to say he could come from any nation ruled by one of the five pre-Roman empires, we are limited to southeastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Central Asia and India.

Barack Obama, as far as I know, hails from none of these places, unless you take into account that his father probably had some Arab ancestry. But then again, who knows? Maybe Obama will enjoy his term(s) as US President, then decide to move to Iran and oust Aquavelvajad so he can lead a new Persian Empire to conquer the world? That's not anymore outlandish than believing in the rapture I guess!

White communities don't have "community leaders", we have elected officials. If Obama said he would need the help of community leaders he's talking about inner city neighborhoods.

Sorry, but I have read the book. I assume you disregard Pauls account of the rapture in his writings. I assume you don’t believe the Jewish people are the ones that are dealt with during the tribulation. When the time of the Gentiles is over, God will again turn his attention to the ones who rejected him as Messiah. During the tribulation, the marriage supper of the lamb will be taking place in heaven and I plan on being there. Never once in the Bible did God bring judgment on the world before he took his people out of harms way. The Ark and Lott are but two examples. I believe the Bible literally and Jesus speaks directly to two being in the field and one left behind. Pre trib rapture is what I believe the Bible teaches and if I’m wrong, it ain’t gonna bother me cause I am in the hands of the Lord no matter where I am or when I go.

Across the channel from England you have the French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner warning the press that he believes Israel will strike Iran before they can develope nuclear weapons completley ignoring the fact that the chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Mohammed ElBradei, said that Iran lacks the key components to produce an atomic weapon.

Why is it that every head of the IAEA in recent memory is a complete fool?

Alternative scenario: Israel is going to attack Iran. In retaliation, terrorists will attack some cities in the U.S.

My thoughts too.

I can honestly see why one would think obama is this antichrist. He certianly is full of himself.

I had in mind the ‘Christians’ who did not actually have a personal relationship with Christ at the time of the rapture. They will realize their error when the rapture takes place and they are still here. There are going to be many such “Christians” going through the tribulation.

There are a lot of interesting antichrist theories. this one is especially fascinating. (no, i don’t believe it, but its a great read)

What are community leaders going to do? They would last about as long as a fart in a whirl wind.
