In my very republican county in Indiana, the base did come out and vote. We had 80% turnout. The problem was that our base split their votes. Gov. Daniels got 28,000 more votes in Hamilton County than John McCain.
He just didn’t sell himself.
I try to avoid vanities, but I certainly didn't vote for him. I don't live in a state where it would have made a difference, but I wouldn't vote for such an aggressive enemy of the Constitution, regardless.
I thought with the black voter turnout, there was an equal amount of white voter NON-turnout for the dems.
He doesnt want Kerry because Mass could elect a GOP senator to replace him or Kennedy when he retires. Mitt Romney and Jeff Beattie are both considering runs for Mass Senate (Romney would not help him in any way during his run against Kerry)

Well, amen to that. It’s guaranteed that no one BHO picks for any post or position will be good (because he himelf is not). She’d be as good as, if not better than, many on “The List”. But that’s SUCH an important position, in light of the worldwide threats we’re facing. Sure as hell wouldn’t want to see John F’ing Kerry in it, or many others who’ve been mentioned. It’ll be so interesting to see how soon BHO drops the ruse of appearing to be/acting like a “Moderate, Bi-Partisan Uniter”. And it will be extremely scary after 1/20 if not before.

Because he’s already campaigning for ‘12!!!! Plus, he dare not yet reveal his true agenda for the country. That will unfold in due time, maybe rapidly during the first year. Meanwhile, he must continue to lull the nation of sheep further into the blissful haze of a “transformative, historic moment”.
