Arianna Huffington's Infanticidal Fantasy
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 11/14/2008 7:33:59 PM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

By definition, projection is revealing of what lurks in a person's heart and mind. Arianna Huffington projected tonight, and what she revealed wasn't pretty. So much so, that her liberal host hastened to diassociate herself from what the HuffPo editor said. Huffington, grossly misquoting Grover Norquist's famous line about doing away with government, added a grotesque infanticidal twist.

Huffington, a guest on Rachel Maddow's show this evening, shed crocodile tears with her host about the diminished state of the Republican party. It was in suggesting that, of all things, she and Maddow should head up a Marshall Plan to save the GOP that she engaged in that ugly projection.

Does A.H. have a mind in which anything can lurk?

Grover Norquist

Is Grover Norquist an Islamist?

Paul Sperry, author of the new book, Infiltration, in an interview calls Grover Norquist "an agent of influence for Islamists in Washington." When asked by FrontPageMag.com why a Republican anti-tax lobbyist should so passionately promote Islamist causes, Sperry implied that Norquist has converted to Islam: "He's marrying a Muslim, and when I asked Norquist if he himself has converted to Islam, he brushed the question off as too ‘personal.'" As Lawrence Auster comments on this exchange, "Clearly, if Norquist hadn't converted to Islam, or weren't in the process of doing so, he would simply have answered no."

Indeed, Norquist married Samah Alrayyes, a Palestinian Muslim, on April 2, 2005, and Islamic law limits a Muslim woman to marrying a man who is Muslim. This is not an abstract dictum but a very serious imperative, with many "honor" killings having resulted from a woman ignoring her family's wishes.

Alrayyes (now known as Samah Norquist) has radical Islamic credentials of her own; she served as communications director at the Islamic Free Market Institute, the Islamist organization Norquist helped found. Now, she is employed as a public affairs officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development – and so it appears that yet another Islamist finds employment in a branch of the U.S. government.

Grover Norquist has for some years now been promoting Islamist organizations, including even the Council on American-Islamic Relations; for example, he spoke at CAIR's conference, "A Better America in a Better World" on October 5, 2004. Frank J. Gaffney, Jr. has researched Norquist's ties to Islamists in his exhaustive, careful, and convincing study, "A Troubling Influence," and concludes that he is enabling "a political influence operation to advance the causes of radical Islamists, and targeted most particularly at the Bush Administration."

But if Grover Norquist is indeed a convert to Islam, it could be that he is not just enabling the Islamist causes but is himself an Islamist. (April 14, 2005)

Who in the world would voluntarily watch those two harpies? Gad. The advertisers must be out of their tiny minds. Just the screen shot is painful.

“Anarchism and Socialism don’t exactly mix, Huff.”

You can say that the only true anarchist is an individualist. But tell that to Bakunin. Or Marx, for that matter. Most communists/socialists get away with being totalitarians at heart by attacking the system as it is, as if they don’t want to replace it with something much more repressive.

Question: Have Arianna and Maureen Dowd ever been photographed together? I mean at the same time, in the same room?

Follow-up question: Matthew Broderick got a sex change? When did that happen?

Which one is Huffington?

The bull-dike on the left with the pant suit, or the middle aged bourgeois liberal one on the right?

What a combo.

Rachel Maddow is a dyke while Arianna turned her husband into a fag.

Communists see anarchy as a step in the process of communism. It is the confused state of revolution necessary to usher in centralized control, like the bailout.

Hmm. Maybe we need a separate thread on Norquist, if there isn’t one already.

I have thought that Norquist was often acting strangely in recent years, but I hadn’t really been following him except when he popped up into the current scene.

What you say is certainly disturbing.

And speaking of leftists and babies...

“I want to get the conservative movement down to the size where I can bread it and deep-fry it in the bathtub.”

Arianna turned her husband into a fag.

If I was married to Arianna, I would. at home at least, pretend to be gay.

“It is the confused state of revolution necessary to usher in centralized control, like the bailout.”

There’s also supposed to be peace and harmony after the dictatorship of the proletariat whithers away. That is the famous end of the historical process of dialectical materialism. What Marx apparently failed to realize is that something will have to be there to keep people from collecting property and kicking a new historical process into gear. That, among other things, is what makes his philosophy foolish.

Yeah, I can't remember what else he's done that's "strange," but there were some other things I can't remember that just didn't fit. ....Just looked at his wiki:

Norquist has been close friends with Abramoff since college, when he ran Abramoff's successful campaign to become national chairman of the College Republicans.

The unfortunate thing is that in getting out of the marriage, Arriana’s gay Republican husband had to give her $25M that she uses to spread her deranged leftist drivel.
