Um the KJV is an inaccurate bible, LOL! The bible says there are other gods, just that we are not to worship them.

DU: Pride = Thinking you know what we believe even when we deny that "that" is what we believe. Jibaholic: Pride= wanting to be like God.

There are many ways to be proud, thinking you know more than you do is one of them.

I quoted from NASB. You may have a cookie for Bible Gateway to use the KJV. The NASB is one of the most accurate translations, certainly more so than the Mormon bible.

Ah, but disobedience of what? Original sin goes deeper than eating a piece of fruit. The sin was pride: wanting to be like God. Eve didn't want the fruit; she wanted to be like God.
