Again it is not too soon. Obama must be defeated in 2012. This should have been launched on November 5. The people behind Sarah are openly declaring themselves-if Sarah does not want this attention all she has to do is to state unequivocably that she is not running for President in 2012.If she does not I will assume that she is running; so will millions of Americans. Bottom line: Sarah is a player and is not going away.

*Sarah had her time in the spotlight and she failed....let’s get someone new in there.

I’m all for Jindal in 2012. However if Obama has a great 4 years, any candidate willing to run against him will be hurting their chances in 2016.*

I don’t like that logic at all. By that logic Ronald Reagan would’ve never become president nor Abraham Lincoln for that matter. One could flip that logic and say she’s tested candidate. As far as El presidente-electo having a “great” 4 yrs-—if he institutes even a quarter of his true agenda he won’t have a decent 2 yrs in office. I’ll never forget the dems started running against Bush I back right after his triumphant/victorious state of the union address following his Gulf war success and 90% approval rating. 2 1/2 yrs later he was barely able to scrape together 38% in a 3-way race. We got a nobody named Bill Clinton and the rest is history. No, I beg to differ.....Run Sarah Run!!!

Freedoms Defense Fund has already run a pro-Palin ad in IA and NH. http://www.freedomsdefensefund.com/index.shtml

I’m not crazy about an even longer election cycle, but with 0bama raising $750 million this time, and you can bet he’s going to go for at least a billion in 2012, anyone even interested in running has to start soon in order to be able to fairly compete. They don’t want to be dependent on public financing, and be outspent 5 to 1 like McCain was.

Sarah has been exposed positive and negative. Thank God for those who support Sarah. We will accept the positive and we will also pledge to help Sarah to combat the negative. Sarah is now battle-tested, folks. To discard her to the scrap heap of history would be the worst thing that the GOP could do. Superstars like Sarah only come along once every two decades, if that often.

Thanks for the link! I totally concur. I don’t want to see a prolonged election cycle either but my gut tells me the dems are getting ready to steal another one in MN and this is just insane. We gotta have a candidate that has as much of our conservative principles as possible (we’re not all simese twins you know). But we got to have a real person as a candidate, who sincerely wants to be a public SERVANT.

No candidate is going to be perfect philosophically or in their personal lives, but we have the real deal in Sarah and we gotta stop discarding people cause they had a few bumps and bruises. I always liked Sarah during the camapaign, but when she turned down that government raise-—that did it for me she was my candidate for 2012!

The Rockefeller Republicans and the Willardites aren't gonna like this one iota.

And Eye Guy writes in post 15: Yeah, but she doesn’t have an Ivy League law degree and doesn’t know anyone in Washington.....

Yep. Had a run-in with the dictionary definition of what Rush calls a "Republican elitist" over the holidays, a long-time friend of the family. I don't know who he supported in the primaries, but I'd bet it was Romney or maybe Giuliani. This friend is the type of guy who's deeply impressed by Ivy Leage degrees, business "acumen," and proper social decorum.

We talked a bit about Palin, and he said with dripping condesension: "I like her, but she's certainly not qualified to be president." And I was thinking: as Alaska's governor, she has dealt internationally with Russia, Canada, and also had to work with oil companies, not to mention corrupt old-boy network Republicans. She's no elitist, but has happily lived hard-scrabble among other people who've happily lived hard-scrabble. Self-sufficient, independent, self-directed, live-and-let-live producers of things people need ...

... unlike my elitist Republican friend, who has never actually started with nothing and through his own effort produced something with his hands and smarts that someone else needs or wants and will buy from him; no, like most elitists and execs (he's a business exec), he oversees things to make sure people do things the correct way, which is synonymous with his way. He's all for Nanny Government as long as he's the Nanny. He's a "compassionate" liberal who is a registered Republican with full arrogant claim to supervising, for their own good, those who aren't as smart, responsible, or "qualified" as he is. The older I get, the more I think that he's more damaging to America as a Republican than he would be if he was a Democrat.

His low opinion of Sarah has raised her higher in my own estimation.

I like Jindal fine but he’ll be too young to run for POTUS in ‘12...only 41. He’d be a great VP candidate, however, IF he is a successful governor in LA. He’s been in office for what, a year and a half? Sarah must also win re-election in AK, and I think the media and BHO “hit squad” will be targeting her in ‘10.

Re: Sanford....he puts me to sleep. Going against the One, we need a candidate with charisma, someone who is a “media star” (I know, I know...unfortunate as it is, that seems to matter a great deal in this day and age). Right now, only Palin and Jindal fit the bill.

Jindal is my first choice. There is no way I'd ever go off the Conservative bandwagon again and support McCain after that poorly ran campaign.

I get embarrassed every time I think about the presidential election. Talk about “WEAK”...but hey... us plain ole Conservatives don't know anything even though we worked our behinds off to get W elected along with keeping the Congress for a short period of 12 years, since the GOP didn't have the stomach for the tough stuff.

Yep. I’m more worried about 2010 right now than 2012.

The double standard on requisite “experience” and “qualifications” when it comes to the redoubtable Governor Palin is appalling, particularly amongst “conservatives” who, by definition, ought to know better.

Yes, as a society we are plagued by an army of overseers; inspectors, regulators, journalists, “educators” and bureaucrats, many of whom could be eliminated outright without adverse effects. We need more actual producers of work as opposed to those watching and commenting from the sidelines, and getting paid for it, often with the unending bounty of taxpayer largesse.

Sarah can be a player by laying groundwork now...by leading her state and bucking the trend of California and New York. Make her state the envy of the other 49. She can also do the right thing by making appearances at the ACU, etc. She can be a conservative leader without running for President. We need leaders in the arena, not candidates running right after the election.

One thing I have resolved in my life is never to disqualify somebody for office for being too young. The Founding Fathers set the standard at 35. if it was good enough for them it is good enough for me. If I do oppose or favor Jindal in the future it will not be based on his age but his conservative ideas, his ability to communicate them and his ability to rally the GOP and win elections.

I won’t support Sarah in 2012.

Why not? Palin already has name recognition and she'll have experience in 2012. Furthermore, she has already been through the fire.

Prayerfully, we’ll find Conservative leadership along the way that can handle the attack of the left wing media.

What is Palin? Chopped liver? You're not going to get more conservative than her.

Personally, I think this draft Palin committee is dumb. We just got over an election.
