2012 Draft Sarah Committee has been formed to encourage Gov. Sarah Palin to run for U.S. President in 2012.

The 2012 Draft Sarah Committee is registered with the Federal Elections Commission as a draft committee. The requirements on who can contribute are the same as for any federal elections. Statements of income, contributors and expenditures are filed with the FEC.

Personally, I think this draft Palin committee is dumb. We just got over an election.<<<

What do you think the Democrats are doing now? Sitting back and playing dumb??

I’ll wait and see. The 2012 elections are far off, and for now my attention is focused on Sanford.<<<<

Wait and see eh? As IF the Democrats are sitting back. Wait and see and for NOW your attention is focused on Sanford? LOL

He’ll never make it. Currently, Governor Sarah Palin is the only Republican politician who is in high demand on the talk show circuit, has galliardising support, is directly or indirectly responsible for developing massive email distribution lists, growing the online presence of conservative chat rooms, networking site and blogs and has the ability to fund-raise at the level of President Bush. Since the Nov. 4th election, most of the new conservative blogs and sites have been created on behalf of Sarah Palin or created by administrators supportive of Palin and/or her conservative positions. The online growth (blogs, youtube, conservative social networking) is Palin motivated and Palin targeted

*Do you really think you’re going to have to draft her?*

I guess you think the Media and the GOP should choose our candidates for us??

Currently, Governor Sarah Palin is the only Republican politician...

I'm not a Republican.

I'm an "independent."

And, frankly, from what I'm seen of Palin, I'm not impressed. Associating with McCain, her interview with Univision, the hypocrisy surrounding her daughter's pregnancy, her public claim that the Iraq war is "God's plan," and the Wall Street Journal op-ed cosigned with McCain just before the $700B bank bailout in which she promised to protect Americans against more bailouts.

So, until someone actually successfully convinces me that Palin is a genuine small-government conservative, sorry, I'm not interested in any more McCainian-Bushite Republicrat shenanigans.

*Yeah, but she doen’t have an Ivy League law degree and doesn’t know anyone in Washington.....*

Yeah so what’s your point? She will be the people’s Candidate. DraftPalin and teamsarah only developed their networks in the last 45 days. These sites, in combination with the other pro-Palin sites/blogs and networks will easily exceed the 1 million membership mark before the end of next year.

Sarah may be OK, but to compare her to Ronald Reagan is simply absurd. By just about anyone’s standards.

I am so sick of this Sarah stuff. Let it go for a while.

She might be OK in a few years, but most people are sick of her. I know I am.

No, I don't think Palin will need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the nomination convention. Far from being drafted I think she's already started running for 2012.

I would wait a couple years. A lot can change. Granted registration is necessary because of funding regulation, but nothing need be done now aside from designing letterhead.**

Yeah just sit back and do nothing - sure way for victory. The online Palin movement is the only conservative network to adopt identical technology and networking platforms as the successful Obama Presidential campaign. The Palin movement will be the critical factor in saving many Senators and House members in 2010, which is why liberals want Palin to become insignificant and shun from the national stage.

Next time you decide to repeat your Keith Olbermann talking points on Sarah Palin, remember which national GOP candidate was stumping across Georgia for Senator Chambliss, on the eve of the election. It was not President Bush, former President Bush or Senator John McCain, it was Governor Sarah Palin.

A wise choice, Senator Chambliss.

Newly reelected Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) credited Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with firing up his base and allowing him to cruise to a victory over Democrat Jim Martin.
Chambliss heaped praise on Palin, saying she has a “great future” in the GOP.
“I can’t overstate the impact she had down here. All these folks did a great job coming in,” he said, referring to former presidential candidates Mike Huckabee and Rudy Giuliani. “They all allow you [to] add momentum to where we were in the campaign. But when she walks in a room, folks just explode.”

Three weeks after the Republican ticket suffered a sweeping defeat at the polls, Sarah Palin continues to dominate search engine queries, cable news and online video sites. The only American politician who generates comparable interest is President-elect Barack Obama. No one else is close.

Human Events named her the “Conservative of the Year”

PAC spokesman Sal Russo said they have received $2 million in donations for the ads, which will start running tomorrow in Alaska and will include a national buy. “We wanted to give Sarah Palin the reassurance that despite the critics, Americans by and large appreciated her service and want her to continue to be a voice.”
He said there was some “back and forth” about whether the political ad would air on the television networks. He said it would air on cable news outlets. In Alaska, the ad is airing in primetime Wednesday.

I can hear all the potential 2012 candidates saying to themselves…”I have no chance to secure the nomination if Palin runs”.

I was riding home in my car the night of the VP Debate. I am a staunch conservative and was a big fan of her. After about twenty minutes of listening to her, I had to change the station. It was painful to listen to. While I know she is not stupid at all, she sounded like someone that just fell off the truck.

She did not articulate her positions, she did not articulate the positions of her party. She looked great, and I am sure she is a nice person. I just personally could never find it in my soul to vote for her.

She did not articulate her positions, she did not articulate the positions of her party.

Right. She was articulating the positions of the McCain Handlers.

My first political campaign was Goldwater. I've seen a lot of 'comers' pass thru the turnstyle over the years.

If she is allowed to be herself, this young woman will do just fine. She was hindered by the anal retentive McCain Handlers.

Romney and Huckabee have already got a lot of the really outstanding Caucus Organizers on retainer here in Iowa. I don't think it's too early for other candidates to begin organizing.

I was an early Fredhead. I'm not looking forward to another long Presidential Campaign. But I'll do whatever I can to toss a roadblock in front of Mitt and Huck. So, I'm going to find a Sarah Palin tshirt to wear on the beach in Florida in a couple of weeks.

Oh, I am right beside you in stopping Mitt. I lived under him in MA for four years. Thanks, but no thanks to him.

I am “open” to Sarah, but I just think she needs to grow a bit. Turn the folksy into confident; turn the eye winks into cold stares when she needs to. THAT would convert me.

I am sorry to say that I dont have an alternative. I feel like when my wife asks me what I want for dinner and all I can say is what I don’t want. I know it sounds mean, but sometimes you are just hungry and don’t know what for.

Please.

It was gross sarcasm.

Ivy League credentials and Washington connections are a major liability in my book.

Sarah had her time in the spotlight and she failed

Those are the talking points of the liberals and the GOP (who want her off the radar, too conservative) and she was more successful than anyone except Obama.

That's why she must be marginalized before it's too late.

Next time you decide to repeat your Keith Olbermann talking points on Sarah Palin, remember which national GOP candidate was stumping across Georgia for Senator Chambliss...

What's your point? That elections are just popularity contests? I won't vote for someone just because she's popular or because she has an (R) after her name...I did that in 2004, and Bush acted just like a Democrat.

Further, I don't watch Keith Olbermann. In fact, I had to Google the name to find out who the hell he is.

If you want me to support Palin, tell me what she stands for in concrete and certain terms rather than just exhorting me to drink the Kool-Aid and jump aboard the Palin cult bandwagon.

Another way of saying “liberal talking points”

She happens to connect with PEOPLE ( in case you haven’t noticed)Let’s see.....80,000+ spectators show up in any kind of weather to see her..but if you are under Messiah BO spell, you wouldn’t have noticed it. Gov Palin is the closest thing to a conservative without baggage that we have and if you seriously need to KNOW more about her, sign up for the newsletter at www.2012DraftSarahCommittee.com

I think you got her mixed up with Tina Fey.

She did not articulate her positions, she did not articulate the positions of her party. She looked great, and I am sure she is a nice person. I just personally could never find it in my soul to vote for her.**

You are forgetting that the Republican Convention was the most watched Convention ever on TV because of Palin. Her speech even astounded the liberal pundits.

“Connecting with the people.
Telling it like it is.
Americans love the truth and plain talk.”

And that’s simply the way she is when she talks....

The Palin detractors are going to find out very fast exactly how much support she has at the grassroots level
