I just saw a Chris Wallace interview on FOX News of Pres. GHW Bush. GH was doing his best to say good things about The One. But he finally broke down, wrinkled his brow and said "I wish I knew him better. I don't really know anything about him."
Sums it up for the whole country, Mr. President. 52% of the country voted for him on that basis.
