To some people a cow is just another ‘meal’, like a pig or a chicken. They don’t really care if the cow wants to be slaughtered and eaten or not.

My Collie/St. Bernard mix Bubba “needs” his scarves. I took him to get him groomed and they put a scarf on him. I left it on until it got dirty, but every time I tried to take it off he got upset. I gave in and bought him several different scarves, we change it once a week. When he sees me pull out a clean scarf, he gets all excited and he prances around after I put it on him. He’s 12 years old and has arthritis in his hips...so at that age, anything that makes him feel better is ok by me.

So you get in trouble if you dress your dawg in the bee costume ...

One of those needs is to express normal behaviour ...

So does that mean spaying or neutering a pet is akin to violating its civil rights?
