The Gallup Poll on Saturday released the first job-approval rating for President Obama, based on interviews during his first three full days in office: 68 percent.

The amazing thing is that The One is only at 68 percent with all of the positive media attention he has gotten for the past two years.

I was wondering the same thing about why his numbers weren’t higher after all, he is “THE ONE”.
And if it had been Bush, the headline would read:
President’s approval rating plummets after less than a week in office.
This must have been before the “I won.” and Rush comments. His immaturity is showing through the cracks early.

The anti-Bush protest voters (many of them Republican) will peel away first. Once peeled away, they will not return.
I prefer the way Scott Rasmussen, a conservative pollster and Fox News contributor does his Presidential approval index which subtracts only the strongly disapprove from the strongly approve.

Basically what they did for the last 8 years. The difference here being is that GWB couldn't care less and for BHO it's the only thing he has going ;-)
