I know there a lot of articles have been posted discussing the topic, but this article seems to be a pretty good summary and I didn't see it posted.

partisan bickering he had pledged to stamp out during his first 100 days.

all dissenters, prepare to be stamped out...234 years was longer than average...

Bipartisan spirit? What bipartisan spirit? Barack, Nancy and Harry don’t have a bipartisan bone in any of their bodies.

This twirp proves how weak he is every day. No past POTUS...not even Clinton, made Limbaugh or any other example of freedom of speech as a priority issue. He couldn’t manage a McDonalds much, much less the USofA!!

One thing I haven’t seen in any of these articles: When Obama dissed Rush in front of those Republicans, did any of them say or do anything in Rush’s defense?

Typical RAT MO. This is probably the opening salvo in the war to silence conservative talk radio. They create a problem (in this case it’s the “economic stimulus”), then they propose the solution (silence talk radio). They’ll convince the sheeple it’s in the nation’s best interest—after all, this is just too important to let conservative talk radio stand in the way of the RATs rescuing the economy.

"But they know they're in a fight now. And it probably won't let up for eight years."

Hopefully in four. WE support the President, just not his policies or his socialist thinking.

"I won. I'm the president."

That sounds like a spoiled brat to me. Obama does not and never will rule me.

I am so glad that I am not responsible for Hussein Obama being in the White House, what a flake he is, and it only took a day to figure it out. Before Obama is thru , the whole of Washington D.C. will look like a blizzard of flakes hit it.

The president has also reacted badly to his first taste of tougher questioning from the previously supine Washington press corps -

Barack Obama picks a fight with Rush Limbaugh as bipartisan spirit crumbles

Obama Day #1. Closes Gitmo, dismantles the war on terror, give rights to terrorists

Obama Day #2. Promotes abortion over the world and has American tax dollars pay for it.

THAT is how the bipartisan spirit crumbles...

“They knew what to expect but they’ve had it all their own way for so long that the speed of it may have come as a surprise. The Obama people like a scrap, they’ve proved that throughout the year, none more than the president. But they know they’re in a fight now. And it probably won’t let up for eight years.”

Yep Obozo you and your lapdogs, mainstream media, won and you had an easy time. But now the truth is in the telling. Your agenda of complete socialism will be slowed down.

You are right, he is weak.

The thing is, Obama is trying to make this about Rush and not his bad policies. It is a political slight of hand trick. "Don't look at me, look at him. He is a bad, bad man."

Just see what happens to bipartisan spirit when the next group of terrorist attacks befall us.

Of course not. They all want to be invited to the next meeting and to the parties.

Great article.

The British media, on the whole, I think is better than American media. The Telegraph is one of the best papers in the world, IMO. Admittedly, it is a center-right paper.
