Posted on 01/25/2009 2:40:42 PM PST by Jim Robinson
B. Hussein Obama arguably holds the most powerful office in the world, yet he fears a mere conservative talk show host. I say that makes Rush Limbaugh the most powerful man in the world!
Way to go Rush!! Keep up the great fight for Liberty and against Marxism!!
Please, quit demeaning children.
Pray for Rush’s safety.
Gosh, now that barry is prez, he doesn’t like “community organizers” much, does he? Speech is free so long as it is supportive of barry.
It is a shame that two such talented people did not marry and have a ton of children. They both have DNA that should be replicated.
shows how meager o really is. actually we can do without this pres all together.
They are in power, "Bring it all down, man!" Now it can done not from the street but from Washington. This will likely be their only chance for "change.". There are no limits to how they will use the government's resources.
.. what if? Headline:
Rush's OxyContin defense violated federal law?
DOJ Opens Investigation Of Limbaugh
"Rush did some questionable things," says DOJ spokesman.
There are no Elliot Richardsons and William Ruckelshauses among the pukes in BO's Administration.
Maybe they got a call from Dingy Hairy and he told them what the outcome would be......
WASHINGTON -- President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.
"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.
It’s not too late.
Here that, Limbaugh, Coulter? Times a’wastin’! Get busy ... or .... whatever.
Here = hear.
Sheesh. It’s early monday morning. That’s my excuse.
Rush has stepped it up a notch or two of late.
He is only one voice crying in the wilderness but, Oh what a voice.. and message. ;-)
Couldn’t agree more and I said the same thing on another thread earlier today.
We only need ONE leader and Rush right now is it!
Yea, Obozo wants Conservatives to dump Rush.
Welll, let see, ahuh ahuh, I am so stupit that I am going to take advice from a liberal. Ahuh ahuh!
Obozo must think that we are as dumber then he is.
The Democrats have overwhelming control.
“...he fight over free speech”
Should BO and his buds try to infringe upon the first amendment right to free speech by seeking to hush Rush and other broadcasters, I believe it will be time for us to organize a “March on Washington” with numbers that will far exceed the attendance at last week’s inauguration.
Most of us have to work so it ain't going to happen. Who the hell can afford to lose their job and spend thousands of dollars to walk in the beaten path of unwashed idiots "hitting the streets"?
Try to come up with a plan that doesn't involve sniffing glue.
Yep, I fully expect Mark will have Rush’s back, and I’m looking forward to hearing his show tomorrow, too.
Here is a quote from B.O.’s inaugural speech that - from the looks of things - we and Rush will be able to use against him sooner rather than later, for he’s describing himself:
“To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history...”
Here’s another quote from B.O.’s inaugural speech that is so not true, and so naive, that it sounds as if Jimmah Carter or one of the Code Pink nit-wits wrote it for him:
“... our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.”

And here is even more that will come back to bite him in the butt:

Obama’s Curious Inaugural Rhetoric
By Paul Kengor
“...Alluding to the American founders, President Barack Obama, in his Inaugural Address, stated: “The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.” This seemed to be a reference to the Declaration of Independence, or at least to the principles in that sacred political document.
The moment I heard those words, I immediately noticed — as did others who quickly commented — that Obama neglected two crucial things from the most famous line not only in the Declaration of Independence but in the essence of the American founding: 1) He left out the unalienable right to “Life;” and 2) He left out the words “created” and “Creator” — the God who “endows” that “Right,” a right which is a “self-evident” “truth.”
This slight was significant for a myriad of reasons. Chief among them, it is patently clear — as it was to the American founders — that one must have life before one can even begin to entertain liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That is why that quintessential right is so fundamental and unassailable, as theologians and political philosophers alike have long pointed out in their admiration of the founders and their Declaration.
When I say “founders,” I mean founders, since Thomas Jefferson himself wrote that very line, which was then preserved and approved in a series of edits and revisions to Jefferson’s text by John Adams, Ben Franklin, and the entirety of the Continental Congress.
Even that, though, does not get to the heart of what Obama pronounced. Whether the new president — and his speechwriter and staff — realized it or not, he appears to have inter-mixed the core of the Declaration of Independence with the core slogan of the French Revolution: “liberty, equality, and fraternity.” He seems to have integrated the guiding document of the French Revolution, the Declaration of the Rights of Man, with the guiding document of the American Revolution.
There, too, in the Declaration of the Rights of Man, the emphasis on “life” is replaced with “equality,” as it was in the new president’s Inaugural Address. In the French manifesto, the word “life” is non-existent, as are the words “God” and “created” or “Creator.”
That was no accident by those who spearheaded the French Revolution. ... [snip]”

Rush to Announce a Bipartisan Plan [to Obama] to Resolve the Fight Over the Stimulus Package on Monday’s Show
Let’s stop the acrimony. Let’s start solving our problems... together. Why wait another day?
UK Telegraph: Barack Obama Picks a Fight with Rush Limbaugh as Bipartisan Spirit Crumbles
Last Man Standing [Rush] Assaulted by Kool-Aid Drinking Drive-By Media
Nobody else is willing to defy the Obama cult.
Rush’s radio show tomorrow will be ANOTHER ONE for the civics history books and I bet the salient parts of it will show up on Youtube..
Another few jobless reports and most of us wont have that problem..........
"You know it and I know it." :)
Yep. The most powerful man in the world is not supposed to fear someone else. Obama fears Rush, making Rush the most powerful man in the world. Way to go, Rush!
Here, here. He DA MAN!!!!!!
It is time before this gets to far along...
for everything Rush has meant to conservatives...
we, WE need to hold his back. WE need to speak out, speak up and demand our Right to Free Speech as conservatives, Rush’s Right to Freedom of the Press...
Rush can fight this fight, but WE need to be ready to hold his back.
Obama is afraid of Rush. Obama all but peed in his pants over the thought of Rush interfering with his plans for spreading the wealth around.
Obama just earned Rush at least one new fan. Me.
Rush will have a very interesting show tomorrow!
Obama and his supporters are afraid of ideas. That is plenty of reason for Americans to be afraid of Obama.
The most effective thing Rush could do is start a series of explanations on Alinsky methodology ... because Axelrod and Obama and Rhambo don't know any other way. And the Alinsky methodology isn't nearly as effective if the audience has been edumacated on the vagaries.
I love Rush. :)
Thanks for the ping!
I can hardly wait to hear El Rushbo tomorrow!
Rush doesn’t have a boss.
I am truly fearful for my country and if there's one person on FR who did not do all they can to stop this extremist, shame, shame on them.
We may never recover from this. This is likely to change the US forever. I hope they're happy.
Jim, when Rush Limbaugh stood up to President Obama, he stood up to him as a him of both courage and truth. Since Rush is the “gold standard” for conservative talkradio, he could be sounding the call to those who appriciate the message that positive American values are still important.
What Rush did was simply plant the seeds of doubt into people’s minds, water, fertilize them, plus cultivate them into “buyers remorse” in order to make way for a replay of 1994 in 2010.
Thanks for the heads up ping IMPR!
IF RUSH would take the PAY CUT .. Maybe ... Coulter not for VP .. send her to SCOTUS .. I’d subscribe to PAY-PER-VIEW just to see those CONFIRMATION HEARINGS..
I predict Rush will make more teevee appearances. Can we say Greta and maybe Glenn Beck?
Rush loves a challenge and has had all weekend to begin a newer, tougher phase of his consistent efforts to make fools of the low-life, leftists, liberal losers.
El Rushbo’s next few shows will be Hall of Famers. His conservative fire will give new meaning to global warming, and he will polish the brimstone that will shine its brightest at the EIB.
