Why I Like Blago
American Thinker ^ | Jnjuary 27, 2009 | Lee Cary

In a political environment these days without humor, I like Blago. He's the political bad boy of our age.

I started liking him as soon as the media began calling him "Blago" instead of two-term Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. When "Shep" Smith of FOX News calls him "Blago" with a semi-sarcastic tone of voice, I chide the TV saying, "Hey, Shep's a dog's name."

It is, indeed, interesting how our current POS POTUS is doing his best to silence Blago. For that raeson alone, if I were a member of the Ill. Senate, I'd vote against convicting Blago, unloess Blago were allowed to all the witnesses he wants to.

Blago is comedic relief when there is little to laugh about in the country.

He was on Larry King last night. He begged off commenting on his “f-ing golden!” comment, saying, “I can’t go into details — I haven’t heard the tapes”. Now THAT my friends is “f-ing golden” comedy.

GO, HOT ROD, GO! I’m loving this. The longer it goes on, the more the dems squirm. And there is some truth to what the guvna says about the state wanting to raise taxes. The reason I know is because all the other politicos deny it when it’s brought up.

One has to stand a bit in awe of his naked hubris. He unabashedley does in the light what many on the left and some on the right do in the smoky backrooms.

He is amzingly good at what he does irregardless of the total corruption involved.

I am confident a FReeper has already noted that Blago’s semantics are illuminating:

His mantra: “I didn’t do anything wrong”

Not: “I did not offer or intend to do anything illegal”

And he can say it, because his plan was nipped in the bud.......

I want to see how many Dems are involved and to what degree. I want to see him call Ramb Emanual to testify.

I am enjoying this as well. I thought it was detestable at first, but now I am kind of rooting for him. I want to see how many high up dems he can bring down with him. He must have something up his sleeve.

Strange as it may seem to some I feel the same way about my state's governor, Patterson. There seems to come a point in the careers of some politicians, especially Patterson, where they are so incompetent and out of their depth that you actually feel sorry for them.
The semi-blind (both literally and politically)Patterson seems to have been blessed with advisors who are even more incapable than he is. The same NY liberals who once applauded his ascension to the Governor's office are now calling him every name in the book, almost as if he were a NY Republican.

I find it ironic that Schumer picked candidates like Gillibrand around the country to pass the socialist agenda.
However,Patterson doesn’t follow totally the liberal orthodoxy and is being savaged for picking Gillibrand. Also,
Rep. McCarthy should quiet down lest the rest of the state
and nation found out why she’s such back-bencher!

The Anointed One, AKA POS POTUS (I need to keep both of my middle fingers exercised for appropriate salutes to his TV appearances TV) actually did one thing that’s nearly identical to what Blago is accused of dong for his wife, when the lovely Michelle got a juicy promotion from the UC Hospitals and had her salary more than tripled just after POS got elected to the Senate. Then, miracle of miracles, POS got a million dollar plus earmark for the very same UC Hospitals. Maybe Blago knows some more about this and other dealings POS has been involved in.

“In a political environment these days without humor, I like Blago. He's the political bad boy of our age. “

That's like a ten year old saying he loves hemorrhoids. They are hilarious, as long as your sense of humor is that of a ten year old, but not nearly as entertaining when they happen to you. Remember, just because Blago is insane doesn't mean he isn't a dirtbag as well.
