I wonder... he has gone out of his way to endorse anyone but her for 2012.

Well, he did start mouthing off about Jon Kyl the other day.

exactly! When Larry King asked him if he was going to support Sarah for 2012 his comment was “Jon Kyl might run”... no way should Palin help him in the primary. She might in the general, though.

I suppose that means that McManiac will be campaigning against the bill to get Obama to “prove” he’s qualified, too.... LOL...

I am shocked at the number of Californians who have moved over here. I expected that they would be the conservatives moving out, but it’s not, it’s the bleeding liberals and they are ruining our politics here. Everywhere I go I see Obama bumper stickers and California plates. They don’t obey the law here either because they are not paying the fee to register their cars in AZ even though they are working here.

Shadegg won’t challenge McCain but it isn’t because of his House Seat. Remember, Shadegg announced his retirement and had to be talked back into running. He may not run at all in two years.

JD would not even come close in a primary. I like JD but he is a buffoon and he is history.

Well, then... find someone who will challenge him AND can win! Otherwise we have mcCain for life.

There is no one on the political horizon who could possibly beat McCain. This will obviously be his last term. When he retires the seat will likely go Democrat. Flake is a likely heir-apparent on our side but it would be a bruising fight that starts just before the next general.

If I have read Governor Palin correctly, she understands the virtue of gratitude well, and I would not wish her any other way. For whatever mix of reasons, McCain did pick her as VP nominee. Even in spite of his post election behaviour, she will certainly feel an obligation to lend him support. We should remember though that if there is a primary challenge to McCain, Sarah could simply recuse herself on the basis that this is a internal matter for Arisona Republicans to decide without outside interference. If McCain wins the primary, then she can support him against the Democrat. Problem solved.

I’ve emailed him, also. Actually, I’ve emailed everyone at KFYI at some point and always received an answer but none from J. D. Wonder why?

That is the way I hope it will go down here. First we have to find someone to challenge him who can overcome his power here.

Good question. I did see a few articles in December indicating he might run.

That is the fault of the AZ GOP... they have allowed themselves to be manipulated by the Chamber who is manipulated by McCain and no one has been groomed to move up into Shaddegg’s, McCain’s or any other GOP seats here.

John McCain is like a cancer on America and the Republican Party. Has he not done enough damage? He needs to go home and play with his grandkids.

McCain made sure a Dem won and the Republicans lost. He is such a sleazy guy and his wife like Cruella with an eating disorder.

IIRC, Checkers (or maybe it was somebody else) had posted photos here that showed Cindy with an incredibly evil glint in her eyes.
