What is it with the rail fetish? One Weaver rail should be enough for anybody.
BTW, someone should get that young lady a sweater.

They probably could ‘predict’ WWII didn’t happen.

Suppose these people had a neighbor that had only a 10% chance of murdering their family. Do you think those odds are so low that they’d think nothing of staying there?

Yeah, I’ll be shoveling Globull Warming well into May at this rate. It’s the deepest, coldest warming we’ve had in my lifetime. The end must be near. Thank God. I’m developing a real affinity for all those great Southern Gospel songs about being anxious to die and go to heaven.

This reminds me of the early 60s, when the words “computer model” were used to add credibility to just about anything. After all, computers are never wrong. Of course, the analysts, programmers, modelers, and data collectors are another matter.

Any ground intelligence to back that up? I didn’t think so. You’re fired.

Did they use the same computer running the opposing forces that failed to predict the Iranians sending tons of shaped charges into Iraq and generally supported the insurgency?

I’m sure the same program predicted that Adolph Hitler would have been voted out of office in 1940 and Thomas Dewey was elected President.

Interesting, but we still need to check with the soothsayers and witch doctors before we can make an informed decision.
