They will NEVER let us go peaceably, and the reason is not because they know they can’t fund their utopia without us.
It’s a matter of control. They cannot stand the idea of someone living outside of their “know-betterism”.
Harry Reid says “taxes are voluntary.” It’s the first thing he ever said that I can agree with. I’m going with that!
if you won’t pull out your rifle and protect your liberty like men, at least pull out your pen and protect it on 4/15. Instead of writing a check, write a note: “You pay for it”.
It’s easier than that... Just fence in all the blue voting districts... Problem solved and we get 90% of the land.
How is this clear? Where are the numbers that back this up? If only a percentage of Republicans are conservatives, then the percentage must be down near 25%, including the libertarians.
I bet less than 1% at most understand "the founders’ notion of freedom, liberty and self-governance."

I’m glad you mentioned that often-repeated Obama promise to cut taxes for 95% of Americans. It seems to have vanished down the memory hole on election night. I haven’t heard a single word about it during the debate over the stimulus debacle.

Opinions vary... especially on numbers.
I pay an accountant to find every LEGAL way possible to lower my taxes. Also, adjust your W4’s (if you’re an employee) such that you end up with 0 refund, or better yet, pay in some on 4/15. Don’t give the bastards your money during the year for free.

Extra? Seems to me like they don’t even pay what they are owed. Apparently the libs are in favor of “targeted tax cuts,” just very narrowly targeted. Like tax cuts that just benefit “the Daschle household,” or “the Geitner return.” Very narrowly targeted indeed.
Exactly. Liberals are parasites who need a host, and we’re the host. We’d have to colonize Mars to get away from them. It’d be worth it, though.

But that’s the whole point of Socialism. It’s not about paying taxes and spending, it’s about making the other guy pay taxes and we spend.
He got a bit offended by my comment. When I told him those Evil Bush Tax Rate Cuts increased revenue by at least a third, he asked me where I get my facts. I told him to check Google if he didn't believe me.
Here is what cracked me up. He told me if I present facts to him, I should have the documentation with me. I just went there for dinner, not for a debate.

As best I know, if you owe, then you would still pay interest and penalities when forced to complete your filing down the road. Then, when you refuse to pay, they go for your checking, savings, investments, retirement accounts, homes, cars, furniture etc etc etc...whatever they can get their greasy hands on. The IRS has more power than Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini combined ever dreamed of possessing.
