Beck has been a refreshing change. I hope his show stays on Fox. He covers so much news that is ignored by the drive by media.

I like him to, but he is on at 3pm which is a bad time for me.

Near the beginning of the School Year he went on for three or four nights in a row about how terrorist were about to hijack school buses. It was starting to cause me great concern, with my son in the first grade. Now half a school year later I'm looking back at that week of programming way over the top.

When men are thinking about the possibility of gun confiscation, it is easy to imagine that one man will face it alone and without help.

If the feds actually implement a general confiscation, they will not have the time to do one-at-a-time. Police with fed agents would be going through neighborhhods.

If that were to happen, then it would be quite easy for the gown-owning populace nation-wide to know what is happening, and that is when all gun owners will have to make the decision — the REAL CRITICAL DANGEROUS decision.

I remember when he said that the real moment we would know we were in the middle of a economic crisis would be when we saw gas prices go DOWN, not up. I said that, for sure, he was a total idiot. Oh well...

Even then, if Obama considers that terrorists caught in Afghanistan are NOT to be tried in military courts, but civilian courts, then certainly the military would have nothing to do with the suppression, arrest, and trial of those who oppose the government here. That would be up to the state and local police and Justice Department. Right?

3. The 9th and 10th Amendments are trashed by the Feds.

4. The Federal government doesn’t care one hour of the month about the sovereignty of anything outside of Washington DC.

Not advocating anything. Just reiterating the facts.

Well, the problem is they take your gun in just about every circumstance. Because in many to most cases you are arrested, a potential homicide has been committed, the gun is evidence, so you are taken down to the station for at least a few hours, your gun may or may not be returned to you until the DA determines it’s a lawful shooting. Whether you get the gun back and what kind of process and legal hoops you have to jump through vary by where you live.

The problem is the Congress and Senate think so little of us voters that they do what THEY want and the heck with what we elected them to do. How else to explain Collins, Snowe and Specter? or the blatant comment from Schumer today that of course there is pork in the bill and American’s DON’T CARE! How can he say we don’t care? Has no one in NY picked up the phone and called Chuckie Cheese’s office??? BTW he is up for re-election soon.
