LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - California's octuplets mom, already jobless and receiving food stamps, has gone into hiding with her six older children because of death threats, her spokesman said on Wednesday.
Nadya Suleman, 33, has come under mounting public ridicule for expanding her already large family via fertility treatments that led to the January 26 birth of six boys and two girls at a Los Angeles-area hospital.
That criticism has mushroomed as it was reported that she was divorced, living with her parents, unemployed for several years, receiving disability checks for three of her children -- one of whom is autistic -- and collecting nearly $500 a month in food stamps.

Okaaaaay...so, death threats are okay in this case because she deserves it? You can criticize the woman without dismissing death threats as okay for someone like her. I didn’t send her a death threat, but I did send her my opinion of her welfare fraud in the comment section of her website.
What was the welfare fraud? I didn’t hear it was fraudulent.

It’s fraudulent when you are on food stamps and have enough money to pay thousands for Invitro Fertilization and plastic surgery.

It is not surprising this is happening, though. She epitomizes selfishness and a reckless, endangering attitude about children. She needs mental help, and to give those children away to good homes, not publicity and Jerry Springer style exposure.

I just think it’s sad and tragic that she honestly thought that her obviously bizarre behavior and fecundity put on public display would not have any negative results.

It seems to me that this woman needs help right now. I think we should stop picking on her. What’s done is done. What about these kids? The woman is going to need help. No one can take care of eight babies alone. I heard that her mother - the grandmother - is leaving, not that I blame her. I was wondering when California Pro Life Council was going to step up to the plate.
No, but it does justify tubal ligation.
I disagree. No one has a right to force a tubal ligation on another person. Forced sterilization is a very marxist ideal.
