Gibbs Slaps Gregg
ABC News ^ | 2/12/09 | Jake Tapper

A rather pointed statement from White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs:

“Senator Gregg reached out to the President and offered his name for Secretary of Commerce. He was very clear throughout the interviewing process that despite past disagreements about policies, he would support, embrace, and move forward with the President’s agenda. Once it became clear after his nomination that Senator Gregg was not going to be supporting some of President Obama’s key economic priorities, it became necessary for Senator Gregg and the Obama administration to part ways. We regret that he has had a change of heart.”

Once it became clear after his nomination that Senator Gregg was not going to be supporting some of President Obama’s key economic priorities, it became necessary for Senator Gregg and the Obama administration to part ways.

He makes it sound like mutual consent for Gregg to drop out. However, MSNBC said Obama was blindsided by this announcement. So which is it Gibbs? Whatever the case may be, the title should have been:

Gibbs slaps like a girl!

Hillary probably wishes she had bailed out on the Obama regime ... as Secretary of State she's already much of her office usurped by the O.

Gregg didn’t want to support some of Obama’s key economic policies, like hiring ACORN to run the census, supervised by Rahmbo. Arlen Spector and those two broads from Maine must be really embarrassed, that Gregg won’t act more bipartisan.

Bipartisan to Obama means he can rape you and you won’t complain.

And now, rather than just letting the Gregg walk away, his press secretary immediately invokes the politics of personal destruction.

So, if I understand Onada’s press secretary, anyone who signs on to a job with The Marxist’s administration must knuckle under to any policy the man dictates even if it is morally and ethically wrong and/or illegal. It is difficult for me to believe Gregg knew about the census ploy until after he took on the Commerce Secretary job.

How can anyone stand by and watching the fleecing of American taxpayers...Well Marxist socialists can so many on the Left have no problem with what the idiot Obama is doing. However, logical minded clear thinking people that understand this is all a cost burden on our children should stand up...

Its way past time for some more tea to be tossed... but if we did the wacky tree huggers would have us all locked up for littering...

To paraphrase: “In spite of some odd stuff going on with Obama in the past, Gregg still thought Obama was a reasonable man. Once he found out just how crazy Obama’s policies were and that Obama was SERIOUS about them, he had no choice but to run out of the building screaming. And buy a log cabin in the mountains, and build a fallout shelter, and buy lots of guns and food. We regret that he has had a change of heart and we will be monitoring all his contacts and activities going forward.”
