So what? It happens all the time. We do it here all the time with photoshop, and if someone were to sue Free Republic every time someone posted a photoshopped picture, then we would no longer have Free Republic.

The HP pulled it as soon as they found out it was a fake. Technically I think they could have just labeled it a fake and kept it on their site.

Hopefully Gibson's lawsuit gets tossed out. If not, the next lawsuit could be against this site.

Looks like Gibson's getting under their skin. His show lately has been nothing short of magnificent in its chastizing of Obama and the left. He gets accused of racism by sensitive callers and then he makes them sound stupid in their accusations.

He shows them where they are wrong and then makes them apologize and it's priceless. He's 100x better on radio than TV.

Here are my thoughts on the subject.

John Gibson is a rising star in the world of radio newstalk. While his show competes against Rush in some places, he is nonetheless finding a niche in the midday slot and it is serving him well.

Apparently there are some clowns out there who have what I call "Conservative Derangment Syndrome" who seem to have issues with John and are not only trying to deprive him of his livlihood but also of his ability to maintain himself and his family through commerce by smearing him to the point where noone will want to serve him.

Clearly Gibson has a case for libel, slander and defamation. It's time for these clowns and goonies to be ligitated into bankruptcy and out on the streets homeless.

They actually have a name for it here in Oklahoma. It's called "Criminal Libel" Oh, wait that's right. It only applies if you libel a liberal, progressive or moderate. John Gibson is a conservative. I guess that's how the system works here in Oklahoma. Really sad!!!!!
