Imagine how bad it would be tanking without teleprompters.

I hope people aren't happy about this, but I also hope people are learning a lesson from this.

The kind of nebulous "socialism" that floats around college campuses (and takes root in folks who then graduate and join the work force) has brought us a generation thinking you can do the whole "socialism with a human face" crap.

Let's hope if this mess continues, people will move back toward the right and respect responsibility--on the individual, business AND government levels.

Who trusts the Seven Dwarves? Tim “Sleepy” Geithner, Harry “Dingy” Reid, Barack “Dopey” Obama, Nancy “Plastique” Pelosi, Arlen “Turncoat” Specter, Ben “Bankrupt” Bernanke and Eric “Hate Crimes” Holder...

You’re welcome. I’m becoming addicted to Karl Denninger.

I am hoping someone can tell me what “immediate waterfall collapse” means. I don’t speak money but it can’t be good.

I’m guessing...but looking at the graph, he could be describing what is taking place...futures coming right off the speech...plunging. Either way the socialists and their stooges have us over a barrel and we are in rough water.

Enjoy the “rat that had ruined my life” ride...

See the right side of that chart? It resembles a waterfall. Now; zoom out on the chart until the lower bound is at “0”. Extrapolate.

This was such an obvious political stump speech, that about all I could do was laugh.

Pelosi looked like she had just wet her britches when Obama turned and looked at her. Those looks of adoration, and obviously the realization on her part that this was such a momentous occasion, left me thinking the whole lot of them back there were about as shallow as a wading pool that was one mile square with one gallon of water in it.

Obama’s popularity is already tanking big-time, and so it was that he had to get his chums together and play tea party, uh no State of the Union, or more like State of MY UNION.

His trip down the isle, and back out of the chamber was pure idolatry on parade. “Oh, he’s such a rock star!”

No, he’s a spoiled brat that hasn’t had it explained to him yet, that he’s not all that. We don’t celebrate Marxists here B.O.

Get outa here, you’re stinkin’ up the place.

Personally, I think Obama is losing his touch. I don’t get the raves over his performance. He’s become boring. I don’t see the same hypnotic effect he created during the campaign. His speeches are flat.

The razzle dazzle of Chairman MAObama’s rhetoric will not only spread panic in the market, it will parlyse the economy. Nothing but; “Do as I say and you will be saved, do as you know better, and what history has repeatedly demonstrated, you are DOOOOMed!”

And the so called 68% approval ratings are just the media manipulating public opinion again. In the end, this will backfire on them. They crammed him down our throats so they CANNOT allow him to fail. Or else they will take the blame and go down with him.

One thing I noted with the Clintons was this, and I think it’s very important.

Even if you’re as wrong as you can be, or the biggest jackass on the planet, you need to give the masses at least one sentence with which to hang their hat on.

“Everyone does it...”

“I did not have sex with that woman...”

What you do, is you give your die hard supporters one phrase to cling to. Well, he says he didn’t do it. And yeah, lots of people do it, so no big deal even if he did.

Nevermind we were talking about slugs vs presidents. The lame bought off on it anyway.

Tonight Obama gave those who wish to support him, reasons for doing so. Valid? You and I don’t think so, but his die hard supporters will.

It’s the Charlie Manson effect. As bad as the guy is, at some point there was one sentence that brain dead women could buy into. Even that guy gets tossed a bone once in a while. Absolutely nothing would justify that for me, but he does.

And so you play the game. You throw out a line or two, and the lame flock to you with that ‘night of the living dead’ stare.

..He’s become boring....
== = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Understandable since we have been ‘bombed with obama’ 24/7 since Nov 08. He has virtually been in front of a camera or on every magazine cover since then.

I figured he would be ‘toast’ Jan 21 or at least Feb 1 when the masses realized they would still be getting bills sent to them.

A local pundit came up with a good line in regards to the administration thought to advance 900 mil or so to the Palestinians so they can rebuild from the latest Israeli onslaught...

“We as a country are heading toward Socialism—borrowing from a Communist Country to ‘loan’ to a Terrorist Country through the UN”

Regretably, vast numbers of Americans were never there, so they will not be able to “Go Back.”

From my understanding of worldviews, I see it as...well... humorous that these people ignore the market reaction and don’t take it as “damn... we must be doing something wrong”.

See, the market represents the systemic knowledge of thousands, millions of people, making decisions based on their own expertise in their sphere of knowledge.

The left puts absolutely NO value on this systemic knowledge as compared to the “articulated” knowledge of one or few “smart” people like 0bama.

This is why they are completely oblivious to what millions of people are telling them - YOU’RE WRONG, GO BACK!

I heard a communista on NPR describing it as this...

Obama wasn’t going to be pushed around by the whims of the market.
