Buchanan nails it.
We are going to have to fight in the end. It is becoming obvious.
There are millions and millions of Americans who would want to go into open revolt against this government. But we don’t know how. If we ever figure out how to take that first step, I think things will happen very, very fast.
He does indeed
This is a fight worth getting worked up about. Republicans need to fight hard on all this wasteful spending. They don’t have the votes to prevent it from getting passed but they can offer alternatives that will work rather than burden our children and grandchildren with this fattening of federal government with liberal causes.
If a good fight is held, we will take back control of the Congress in 2010 and the White House in 2012. If the fight is weak and barely noticed, we will be under the power of these socialists for years.
He doesn’t NEED a mandate...he HAS the votes.
Now we have to take those away from him.
n his campaign and inaugural address, Barack Obama cast himself as a moderate man seeking common ground with conservatives.
And who was stupoid enough to buy into that?
The guy’s entire history was one of extreme liberalism/socialism. Did anyone expect him to change?
Obama is taking the US down swiftly. years from now will be too darn late.
What a nightmare.....and all of this while he parties....in our White House. He may as well throw salt on the lawn, pluck the roses out of the garden, spray graffiti on the exterior.
There will be very little fighting required, if any (see my tag line).
Sometime in the next 12-18 months, a line may be crossed and, if so, someone in a position to do so will hit the reset button.
Yes we need to fight- but here is one major problem-
Our people are busy, very busy, working trying desperately to keep their lives afloat. They have families to support as well as this despicable welfare nation.
This is a disadvantage. The Obama crowd isn’t worried about getting their sweet A** to work on time.
Our people are not fully engaged as to how radical/how quickly this commie bastard is taking over. They know it is bad-but they are up to their neck in responsibilities.
Conservitives CARE about their responsibilities. Many can’t even stomach watching the news, I know because I talk to them. This is making them more detached and disengaged.
We must inform others. We must keep them aware- It sucks- but there is nothing worth working for if we are not FREE!! They must get the message.
I wonder how long before our enemies smell blood in the water?
I remember feeling uneasy about the USA in 1979 with Carter in the White House. This is worse. I shudder to think of where this sham of a President may lead this nation.
Maybe a giant Tea Party. Tax Revolt? Demonstrate like the blacks did? Maybe the Dimwitted Democrats will impeach him in a effort to save themselves in 2010.
Pitchfork bump!
The president as chief executive of the country is trusted with the job of managing the country within the guidelines and limits defined in the constitution and laws passed by congress.
The president does not have constitutional authority to redefine the authority of the executive branch, to redefine or alter the rights of states and citizens as enumirated in the constitution, or to change our form of government to socilaism.
Obama has already assumed powers that are not his and is intent upon abusing the trust given him by the electorate to achieve his ultra left wing socialist goals.
He is not only stealing money from generations to come, he is stealing their right to live in a free Republic and dooming them to live in an unconstitutional socialist thugocracy.
I have absolutely no respect for anyone who voted for this racist, socialist cypher, most especially those who are not on the dole and actually live by the fruits of their own labors.
It must have been insanity - let’s hope that it was temporary.
I used to vote for Buck in primaries, knowing he wouldn’t get nominated. And I disagreed with some of his policies, But, I also liked him for his 2A views and his outspoken attitude. I have no doubt, for his shortcomings, he would still have made a much better president than what we have...
This is what scares me. When the pendulum swings far in one direction, it swings just as far in the other. In two years, our country will be ripe for a reaction that might not be proportionate.
I hate Obama for making me think this could happen.
Hell yeah pitchforks! Tea parties aren’t going to do it.
