"Push came to shove" on 9/11

GW did send troops to Afghanistan (so in essence, we did "shove" back). But 9/11 was too nebulas. There was nothing actionable. Nothing in which the average joe could participate - other than join the military.

The press for mandatory checkpoints...I just don't think it will be something so sudden as to be obvious to every corporal and NCO that it's time to renounce their oaths.

IMO opinion there will come a tipping point (hhmmm... checkpoints - maybe), that begins a snowball, which becomes an avalanche...

What sort of position would that person hold?

Two+ stars.

I read a book years ago called, “1857”. I cannot remember the author. It was very interesting. Apparently, fights broke out in congress which to the author at least, signaled the start of the formal divide.

I don't think people will accept governing their basic natures just to spite someone else - in this case, Hussein. So, carry on your personal life as you always have. Threats to work less in order to pay less taxes are just that: threats.

Nor should anyone consider paying less than their obligatory statutory taxes. Breaking the law just plays into the tyrant's strength.

No, the way to do it is on the demand side: just spend less money. Save more, consume less. (And, btw, do not put your savings into Ts.) Once the banks are owned by .gov, they can force them to lend, but they cannot make anyone borrow & spend.

The Kenyan's fantasy budget is based on 3% growth. We've already had a 6% contraction; if we can just double that to 12%, the central gov't cannot withstand a 15% hit. The deficit financing will be too great and there won't be enough savings to purchase Treasuries.

We are so close to toppling the beast. We just need to get the message out so that 100m citizens work together to bring forth the fall.

Pat and Ron have proved to be more prophet than crank.

First of all, I don't think that will happen, because conservatives (like Rush says) are genuinely good & compassionate people. That includes me. Having said that, I could care less about the 13% who have actively done all they can to destroy our nation AND us. I don't think the good guys like Thomas, Sowell, Steele, need to worry, and neither do you. By the way, that's what the socialists want to do to us. Bill Ayers (peaceful, grandfatherly, benign former terrorist & bomber) openly says TODAY that this country needs to get rid of 25 million people. I doubt he is talking about fellow socialists & communists. I wouldn't shed a tear or remorse for these vermin. Again, why are you playing conservative compassionism for these vermin who want to destroy you & us??? I fail to see the logic of why you're more concerned about their safety & well being vs reclaiming & retaking our country.
