California’s economy exploding?
Stocks going down REALLY, REALLY fast?
suggested an asteroid was the source of the shacking
shacking?
Really?
I remember growing up near an air force base that sonic booms were a completely regular occurrence.
I thought everyone in Santa Cruz would be too stoned to notice.
Something big is coming for California, a massive quake that will reach half way to the Mississippi River. A massive inland sea will be formed full of strange creatures, mermaids, and floating dwellings lived in by survivalists ..
Haven’t you heard?
Shack, Rattle and Roll....:0)

It may not have been a sonic boom. Booming sounds have been heard before major earthquakes so it may be something to do with a quake getting ready to hit.
Been hearing some late night booms here in southern Michigan but I suspect they’re a local making a pond in the middle of the night.
That's the ticket! Be prepared to jam up 911 with mindless calling if there really IS a disaster! What maroons!
Is my Obamassiah going to pay for my floating dwelling, too? Yipee!
All I need is a few minutes notice. I have my inflatable raft ready to go. But these mermaids sound intriguing. I’ll throw in a coupla’ cans of tuna to entice them.
“And a U.S. Geological Survey spokesperson said the shaking was not caused by an earthquake, though several people called 911 to report a possible rattler after the boom.”
I recall when they used to demonstrate them at air shows. That was 1958 or so.
Yes, tha massive inland sea will be stocked with Striped Bass, those who live in the floating dwellings will feed the bass “pellets”, only don’t ask what the pellets are, they do call them calipellets though ....
