When oh when is FR going to enter the 21st century and enable post editing?

That frustrates me every once in a while, but when you see the fine examples of self-editing in Wiki on Obama's page and the ability to chunk comments down the memory hole, I think it's a better idea that you have to go through the moderators to change something.

I never thought it was an anti British posting, its just that George is not our best ambassador, and I would endeavour to explain how he gets elected. He is a British MP, there is no difference, except English MP’S cannot vote in the Scottish Parliament, but Scott’s MP’s can vote in Westminster thus The tail wags the dog. He is an MP for bethnal Green in London, an area with a high almost total Ethnic (Paki’s) Islamic population. My family are all Scott’s down to my kilt waggling ass, but I live in England and would not be ashamed to be English. Its just a pity that the concept of the English is based on Hollywood films either Arry iggins or Oh gosh and oh I say old Boy. If you talked either way as those in England most people would laugh at you or get you sectioned under the Mental health act.
And the freedom of speech being restricted in UK is not NEARLY, its here. It is against the law under the race relations act to say or to portray by deed or action anything that can be construed as racial against anyone section of the community. Including jokes and to use a term rag head or Paki is punishable by fine (Heavy) or imprisonment, and has happened on many occasions. Sieg Heil

I offered to smuggle a few terrorist into the USA a couple of years ago.
I intended to bring them in disguised as corpses in coffins.
To add realism I further intended to shoot each in the base of the scull. Unfortunately they declined my offer and sought an alternative

Egypt is not “primarily” pro Israel. You obviously don’t read the Egyptian press.

Nice seeing George Galloway finding justice.

My parents just returned to the States from Egypt. According to what they witnessed firsthand, the only people there who are anti-Israel are the European tourists and American liberals.

Did your parents live in Egypt or were they tourists? the reason I ask is that I have always wanted to take a trip there but I have missed my chance, I fear. If I could be helicoptered in, see the pyramids then helicoptered out, it just might work............ oh American Express where are you?

Your folks met some very nice polite Egyptians. It’s a big country with tens of millions of people. I would imagine that your folks don’t read Arabic. There’s plenty of anti-Israeli sentiment there regularly.

And the Islamic Brotherhood, the religious and real home of Al Qaeda’s #2 also comes from Egypt. And the Brotherhood is most certainly not pro Israel.

Al Qaeda is in fact an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Hope you folks had a nice trip.

I’d venture to say the average Egyptian doesn’t read the Egyptian press either. Like I said earlier, Egypt has an economic stake in being pro-western and pro-Israel. Of course there are factions who are radicalized and anti-western and anti-Israel, but also the effort put into security and combating terrorism there is immense and very serious. The people there understand that radical islam only drives away business. Most people there are very poor and very uneducated and are just trying to scratch out a living.

Egypt is primarily pro-Israel, anti-Hamas, believe it or not.

Is it because they don't want the Palestinians to relocate to Egypt?

Vandals also wrote dirty words and anti-Hamas slogans

Nothing wrong with that. Egypt HATES Gaza. They opened fire on Gaza refugees trying to cross the Egyptian border during Operation Cast Lead. Hamas is Iran's proxy. Egypt hates Iran. Therefore Egypt hates Hamas.
