VERY URGENT PRAYER REQUEST FOR COMMON TATOR [Update @ #326]

Common Tator is very, very ill, battling cancer...lung, to his liver.

My is so muddled right now, I don’t know who to post this to.
Ray is completly out of it now, not able to speak. I talked to his step-daughter a few minutes ago, and she said it is basically just a matter of time. I was going down tomorrow to see him, but she said that they prefer only close family to be there. Although I feel like I am Ray’s family, I will respect her wishes.
I’m just so blessed that just a few days ago, he gave me his last column, via telephone, which AF Phys helped me with. It’s on another thread.
I hope this post makes some kind of sense. My heart is hurting, I just pray for Ray to have a peaceful passing, and his step daughter said she would call me when that happens.
I can’t imagine my life without him. I guess I am in denial, I don’t know. All I can do is ask for your prayers.

He is such a fighter, has beat cancer before, but it is not looking good now. He has gone through 4 different kinds of chemo, and his oncologist has now put him in Hospice care. He is at home now, I made the trip to see him (I live about an hour away now) last Sat. We were engaged, and stayed friends, working on getting our relationship back on track. We met here on FR about 4 years ago, and I will be forever greatful that we did. I still love him so much. I called him today, and although he has fought taking pain meds, he told me he was so tired, and when I talked to a family member, they told me he was now taking them. He hates taking those, wouldn't take anything when I was with him Sat., so I know it must be bad now. I know his insight has been an inspiration to many of you here........ He needs a miracle, and all of your prayers. Thanks, Lisa
