No actually this is a relatively small town cultural arts council. They support a children’s theater and local events like weekend open-air music in the summer, idol-type talent contests, etc etc. They are a good group on a small budget but it still just pained me to here about the rush to grab a piece of the “free money”. I would much prefer to see local businesses and people and state and national arts promoting groups support these effors rather than federal tax dollars.
The pool at the Y offers classes in drown-proofing children.

As my daughter is a swimmer, I’d rather have the POOL :(
I think most would!!! (or frisbee park,etc.) You know, things that might keep youth out of trouble, promote family time, serve general public :(
Here in California, our stimulus share will extend foster care until age 21. I think I’d rather have the pool also :)
