Question: Why Are We Not Impeaching Obama Now?
March 26, 2009 | abigail2

I am just wondering, can anyone tell me why are we not impeaching Obama now, before he does anymore damage?

I am no expert but what is needed to impeach a president. Can anyone here explain what is needed?

Not with this MSM cover. I think we are past the point of no return quite honestly. Look at the one portion of the economy which has been booming. The training is coming to a halt, whether off a cliff or into a wall of resistance, I dunno, but this cannot go on forever. Gird your loins.

What about checks and balances.

What about it? With a heavily democratic congress, the legislative branch is not going to be much of a "check" on a leftist executive branch (President). The judicial branch (Supreme Court) has the ability to declare something unconstitutional IF a case comes before them.

While it's a million-to-one shot at this point, the best chance of getting Obama out of office before the next election is to prove in court that he is not constitutionally eligible to serve as President. We would certainly be in uncharted water at that point.

Would a democrat Congress try to ram something through to make him eligible?

Would Biden become President?

Would Biden also be ineligible since it was an Obama/Biden ticket that ran and got elected?

Would Pelosi as SOTH become President?

Would Congress conduct an election (and the Senate for VP)???

Thanks for that consice, but informative post. I had no idea. I think that there will be NO brakes applied, however, this group is running the gauntlet in hopes of dodging any opposition like a twisted “American Gladiator,” as long as they get through intact, they’ve won the game. At least until someone slams “Reset.” Just my opinion.

Good post thanks. So you are saying to challenge the constitutionality of a law you have to have a person to whom it is applied sue. Well, I am glad I posted this because I am learning alot.

I know of very little in law, but pretty sure the electoral process would uphold Biden being chosen as vice president. Biden would be more likely to willingly yield to Pelosi than for him to be forced out too.

Just getting Justice Kennedy to uphold a technicality on natural born citizenship (the alleged scenario was that Obama’s mama intended to give birth in Hawaii, but was barred from traveling and gave birth in Kenya, then she brought Barack to Hawaii and got him recorded there “as if” born) would be a major feat.

I will support Ms Walsh no problem. THanks. I didn’t know you couldn’t impeach a member of congress.

The Constitution specifies “High crimes and misdemeanors”. You or I might not like what he’s doing, and may consider it a crime against America, but it has to fit the description in the Constitution, which is a pretty high bar.

I believe you’re missing the mark FRiend, if you think we have that long before the first wave of dissent, I feel you’re mistaken. I personally believe there will be a flare up and subsequent reform. Voting will be run by Venezuelan polling machins and ACORN registered dead goldfish. Oh wait, that’s how we got here.

Because the system you thought worked, is actually broken. Too many parts either can’t function or refuse to function. The America you thought existed, is just that now...a thought.

The glass has dropped. We are currently existing in the silence between the action and the catastrophic explosion of glass and liquid.

Pray for the troops, know who your friends are, hug your family, have a reliable water supply, and buy lead while dollars still have buying power.

Because the Kenyan wrote an executive order eliminating the impeachment laws.

The Kenyan believes that this is ‘a necessary and vital move towards ending the recession’.

The world muddles through its day with surprisingly less than America has. I anticipate a whimper end, not a bang end. The Bible gives almost no hint of the existence of America during the chaotic end times narrative. It’s like we’ll have all the impact of, say, South Africa.

“something we can do to get Obama to explode”

Careful, now, we’ll get the Secret Service on our butts, or worse yet, 0bama’s brownshirts.

Oh, any kind of explosion would be perfectly okay with
Mathews—he’d just start calling him “The Guy.” Such an explosion would be fine with Donaldson because Donaldson is just a jerk. It would be fine with Katie and Rosie O’donnell, and Barbra and all of the Demoncrats.
