I don’t care so much about his personal wisdom,
he just needs to recognize that the multitudes who have gone before him
are infinitely more wise that he could ever be.

Has it even been 100 days yet?

It'll be 100 days on or about "May Day"...when Obama will stop to review the troops in Red Square.

It’s a good article, but someone needs to tell Mr. Solway that a “burger” is a sandwich consisting of a ground meat patty—the word he’s looking for is actually “burgher”

It simply means "citizen".....with or without the traditional spelling.

How could they not have figured this out?

People see what they want to see ..... some people, anyway.

That was part of the mental aikido that the Daschle-Obama strategy used to snooker people into believing the moonshine.

Youth - voted for the “cool black guy” to “be part of history” and to tried to satisfy their God-given need to be significant and to “belong”. (this yearning can only be truly satisfied with a personal relationship with Christ)

BSF’s (Bitter Single Females) - voted for a replacement husband.

Blacks - voted based on skin color.

Without these groups, Barry’d be a one percenter.

I disagree with the statement that; “the private sector shrinks while the public sector bloats.” because without a growing free enterprise system, revenues coming in that feed the “public” sector beast, or better said parasite, will drop like a rock.

In this case, the parasite will kill it's host in short order. It's time for the Fox to rid itself of it's fleas!

Cool sounding word, simple meaning - of or like marble.

"Master of the teleprompter trope with little to back it up, Barack Obama has been given a free pass by a majority of troubled, credulous and star-struck Americans whose need for a messiah has induced them to embrace a false redeemer. The man with the “chiselled pectorals” (Eli Saslow, Washington Post), the candidate who sends “thrills” up people’s legs (Chris Matthews, MSNBC), a political magnet puffed for his “soaring eloquence” (various commentators), has acquired the aura of significant presence which, it seems, a distressed and agitated public demands. He fills the messianic bill."

What they have to probe into deeper, with some help from depth psychology, is why these people are ready and looking for a cult leader or messiah. There has been something going on in American culture which has made large numbers of people dumbed-down, weary, codependent, and ready to accept an authoritarian cult leader, a fake messiah. That's not a good sign. Children raises in single-parent homes is one factor. Back-to-back dysfunctional presidencies another. Another would be that the people who have abandoned organized religion don't lose the impulse or need for a religion, for some type of spirituality even if it comes in the form of a crackpot fake messiah cult. It's the same thing that pushes people into other cults, whether Jim Jones or the Moonies. There is a spiritual void in their lives. They fill it with a cult. These are deeply troubled people.

...and Limousine Liberals and Moderates voted to assuage their “white guilt”.

Obama didn’t disguise who he was...the media did their best to perform a sleight of hand trick however, focusing on “Obama the Uniter” and “Obama who’ll raise our world standing again”.

Of course, these characters never existed in real life.

What we’re left with is Obama, the hard left idealogue...which is what was always evident.

It seems to be part of a wider syndrome. Obama fills some kind of spiritual void for these people where in the past Yoga, fad diets, New Age crystals, astrology, and wheatgrass colonics would have kept them busy and content. Starbucks yuppies with computers and latte wanted a cult leader, a messiah with a baritone Venus Flytrap voice. The Magical Bushman. It's a New Age form of spirituality. In this situation, Obama also seeks that type of grandiose adulation and veneration. That he also grew up without a father is a key ingredient. These are wounded, sick people looking for an easy cult solution to complex problems. You could see it in the swooning and hysteria (Obamamania) during the campaign. What's happening now is the letdown, just as we predicted. They are in the deprogramming stage.

Sounds like a good idea.

In my opinion I see no easy solution to this nightmare.

Elections in 2010? in 2012? Forget about it. Until the voter rolls are purged and everybody re-registers the conservatives will have very little or no power to speak of in DC. With Acorn involved with the census as well the elections will be more corrupted if that is even possible at this point.

Call your representatives? They are going to vote the way they want whether we like it or not anyway. Remember the first bailout? Oh, we will win a few arguments and they will back off a little on some things, but in the long run they will only get more tyranical, and put the screws to us even more.

We the people are completely on our own. In my opinion the solutions are in two precious documents the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

It appears to follow the academic habit of alluding to the folktale in German in which there is no h in the noun:

"Bürger: {N} citizen, townsman, burgher, burgess, bourgeois, freeman"

http://www.mydictionary.net/german/burger.html

Like Bürgermeister. It's not uncommon to hear academics, often with some exposure to Marxist sociology, talking about "Bürgers" without thinking about McDonald's or Wendy's. Confusing to Americans, but they are not using the English word.

Those of us who consider ourselves moderates…are forced to confront the reality that Barack Obama is not who we thought he was.

B.S. He is EXACTLY who we thought he was. There is NO excuse for ANYONE not to know exactly who he is, because he told us repeatedly during the campaign. What do these people think he meant by "Fundamentally transform the United States Of America"? Or when he said he'd bankrupt the coal industry? Or when he talked about "Spreading the wealth around? There are none so blind as those who will not see.

You can say a lot of things about him, but you can't call him inconsistent. He's doing exactly what he said he'd do. You wanted Change, America, and now you're gonna pay.

Barack Obama is not who we thought he was... - He is exactly who he said he was. God! this is so infuriating! I have three Obama campaign quotes mounted to my office wall. Drug and insurance companies will "not give up their profits easily", "we can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes at 72 degrees at all times...", and, we need a "civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded (as the US military)". What did you not understand???
