I know this is a cliche, but this is outrageous! I realize you have to keep the Unions happy if you’re a Democrat, but this is ridiculous. Sickening.

Hmmmmm ... a little over-reaching powers by the POTUS? Why don’t we demand that BO resign instead.

“The Obama administration asked Rick Wagoner, the chairman and CEO of General Motors, to step down and he agreed, a White House official said.”

Translation: “Obama fired Rick Wagoner and is now running GM.”

And you wonder why the banks are deciding to return the bailout funds.

O learned well from the other fascists around the world.

They brought the economy down with their demands for free housing for everyone. They exploited the poor and their scam enabled them to oversee the destruction of our economy and our country.

Who’s next? Who will Obama appoint to run the General White House Motors?

The ruler of the universe. Welcome to “nationalization”. They won’t call it that, of course. Anyone who says differently is a Rush-bot Republican nutcase. Some might call this fascism.

Exactly! Why do the people apparently condone this degree of meddling by the administration in the (formerly) private sector.

We need to get past tea parties and on to the real civil disobedience stuff. It’s time to take back the country.

Step one...notify ALL your elected officials in Washington demanding they immediately repeal ALL bailout programs. Let the market determine its own level. Artificially contrived market assistance at this point is merely postponing the inevitable. It was proven in the 1930’s and is about to be proven again.

This sends an even stronger signal for businesses not to look to the Federal government to bail them out.

It reminds me of the scene in Goodfellas after the restaurant owner begged Pauly to become his partner for protection. The restaurant was promptly run into the ground and torched by Pauly's henchmen.

Before too long, any private business owner who becomes a political liability will be taken out and shot

I had to explain to my 13 year old the difference between a president and a dictator, and how Obama is acting like the latter.

Hey, I would’ve quit, too.

Do I look like I want to get the “ACORN treatment” like the AIG execs did?

Well, ME specifically: I would welcome them, primarily as target practice and only secondarily for the amusement value.

However, Wagoner looks like the kind of guy who would probably dislocate a joint trying to pull a trigger.

Fabulous image. It wouldn’t be so effective if it didn’t have a whole lot of truth to it, symbolically.

It’s the shareholders job to ask for resignations, not the President of the US!

Wagoner is listed as contributing to Bush twice and Romney.
