If he changes it to a 10% flat tax and gets it passed, I’ll move to PA and vote for him.

You’re not wrong, it was Steve Forbes. Dick Armey introduced it before him with a very detailed article in the Wall Street Journal the day he introduced the legislation.

I’ve been on board since the day I read it.

Nothing shady at all, just knowing the tax laws.
The biggest key is to have your own business.

As a lower earner, my taxes would double.

Yeah, so would mine. I’ll take the fair tax any day.

Yes, he stands up when there is no chance. Where was he when the Republicans were in control?

Even a couple making the Obamaximum income of $500k pays about 29% in federal taxes assuming no substantial deductions.

Tax consumption instead of income. That picks up the tax cheats.

Taxing comsumption also get after the illegal activities out there. Illegal aliens/drug dealers/under the table types have to buy food, clothing, supplies, etc. Get something out of the freeloaders.

Exactly. I didn’t mention my own business. I stated earlier that I have 5 dependents and give a lot to charity, mainly church and directly to some missionary groups for children. I do make a good living of over 100k at my regular job, but I also have a small business with beekeeping which provides for a lot of tax breaks.

Westville, OH The EPA has just told the local grain elevator they would be required to buy 7 permits for ‘coarse particulate matter’ (dust). One permit pertains to the driveway.
permit fees = taxes

Notice that the more you give, the more wealthy you get?
Monetarily, even... :)

Real estate investing has some very special tax perks as well.
