You betcha, says the baby daddy of Sarah Palin's grandson.
The Alaska governor most likely was aware before her daughter, Bristol, became pregnant that the teenager and her hockey hunk boyfriend were having sex, Levi Johnston said in a bombshell new interview.
"I'm pretty sure she probably knew. Moms are pretty smart," said Johnston, 18, the father of the governor's first grandchild, in an interview that will air Monday on "The Tyra Banks Show."
Johnston said he and Bristol Palin practiced safe sex "most of the time."

When some of us posted negative statements about Levi, we were called names here. I said from the beginning it was stupid of Palin to show off Levi at the Convention. Bad taste, sent bad message, gave ammo to critics.
It was embarrassing to watch. My parents would never ever have shown off a guy who got a daughter of theirs pregnant.
And yes, where are the stories about Ashley Biden??

I hate to say it, but along with having a complicit media, the Bidens seem to have more effective handlers for this sort of thing than the Palins do.

I don’t have an “obsessive hatred” of Sarah Palin. However she was a political disaster whose selection as the VP candidate instantly guaranteed Obama the Presidency. The fact that so few FReepers seem to recognize that doesn’t bode well the prospects of fielding a viable ticket in 2012, and making Obama a one-term President. I’m much more appalled by the widespread “hook, line, and sinker” way that so many conservatives have swallowed the Sarah Palin mania, than by anything she herself is or has done.
Because the Biden’s have been in the business longer. You don’t get caught plagiarizing papers in law school, quoting others without citing them when you run for president in the 80’s, have brain surgery for a tumor but never get asked to see the subsequent CT and MRI scans (to see how much brain is left, if any) and become VP without good handlers. No, say what you want about Crazy Joe, he sure knows how to play the game.
Do you really think that Palin was the most significant reason that McCain lost to Obama?

It would have been close if he’d had a decent VP candidate. Which way it would have gone, nobody will ever know. But the day Palin was named, it was absolutely over, and anyone looking at the situation objectively knew it. Sadly, I think John McCain realized it within a couple of days, but it was too late.

No, it actually says nothing more, nothing more in evidence, than that Mr. Bristol ‘believes’ she ‘should have known’.
And, we are to believe that Obama’s appearance on Ms. Banks show and Sarah Palin’s opposition to Obama HAS NOTHING to do with her invitation to Mr. Bristol???? No. They are related conditions.
