Sorry bubba, but frankly, the only freedom-friendly position to take - especially in this day and age of demonstrably corrupt police agencies, false affadavits, warrantless no-knock search executions, militarised police forces, convictionless property confiscations, planted evidence, and a trail of dead puppy dogs is to have a healthy scepticism of the police.
The days of blindly siding with the police in all matters, simply because they're "the good guys" and remind you of Officer Friendly who came and spoke to your class when you were in 3rd grade, are gone. Long gone. In many cases, the police themselves are the bad guys, or are at least questionable in their judgment and behaviour.
In this particular case, who knows, maybe this Pataky guy really is off his rocker, and the cops were justified in search and seizure. But frankly, from the affadavit provided to justify the actual search warrant, as well as the known circumstances surrounding the case (previous conflicts with the PPD, vocal criticism on the blog, etc.), it looks so far like we have a case of retaliation against a private citizen using the powers of the state. If so, that's bloodchilling, don't you think?
A broken clock is right twice a day.
I agree with you. This is suspicious and one sided. In addition, the ex-wife might have been right about him stalking her. He seems to be doing just that with the police...cyber-stalking.
Wilson did it, Fauxbama will do it. Of course most people are completely ignorant of what Wilson did anyway, thanks to the dumbing down of the populace.
Public schools are to education what public housing is to housing, the sooner the people wake up to this, the better off our nation will be.
What’s scary is how the powers that be in the police department, city council and DA’s office thought they could pull stunts like this and get away with it.
What part of the internet do they not understand?
Citizens of Phoenix should start recall petititions immediately and looking for solid replacement candidates to replace those in elected positions that should have excersized oversight of the errant departments.
So?....Who will defend the Constitution when the time comes?
I doubt that the Phoenix police will on the side of truth and light.

City police, not the Sherrif.
BUT ITZ ON THE INTERWEBZ!!!!!!!
You are just a tool of the establishment. You are a statist. How dare you not take the side of a blog rant on the interwebz!!1!!!1! You are a JBT licker. Down with the establishment! Down with the State!
What computer is he alleged to have tampered with?
And yet the bastards can’t even arrest the illegals and drug runners. Their priorities are quite telling.
Oh, well that settles it. They guy must be guilty.
Skinhead JBTs are going to be the leading edge of the gun confiscation. And, no one trusts bloused-booted, badge heavy thugs to defend the Constitution, rather than their own power to extort and kill. That's what all these "anti-cop" people are saying.
You are about to discover who your REAL friends are. And every time you or one of your Bros in Blue abuses their power, that's one less. So, whose side are you on?
Im going to go out on a limb here and suggest this guy is a liberal nut job. The entire article, from left-wing paparazzi rights supporter Carlos Millers web site, portrays only Patakys side of the story. Im surprised this got through:
Pataky: was eventually indicted for harassing his ex-wife.
I know the old saw, you can indict a ham sandwich, but sometimes where theres smoke theres fire, and in this case Im betting its Pataky and Miller whose pants are on fire.
Its also somewhat amusing that if you scroll down on Millers web site the liberal responders, including one from DU, seem to agree with the responders to this FR post.
So we will just assume that you missed the part of the article where it said that all charges were immediately dismissed at trial for lack of evidence?
