The 912 Project is developing a platform.

Here is the poll on 20 of 50 priorities

“Rush is an ass”????

Rush may not be the answer, but he has the answers. He has never pretended “to be” the answer. If you think we can discard or disregard the best conservative voice we currently have then get used to losing. If I had one ounce of resentment for how much money he makes by being a strong voice for America, then I would be ...a liberal. Third party is another losing idea. Why don’t we restore the old buggy, new parts and a major tune up, instead of using our life savings for a new “hybrid” that will not deliver.

As far as entertainment goes....it’s better than ever, IMO. Maybe you’ve lost your sense of humor.

Sorry, it's very late at night and I didn't read your entire post.

Yup, I'm on my high horse. Yup, I have NO idea what a "movement" is. I've never been involved in street activism. I wasn't the Overall Coordinator of the very first Internet (Free Republic promoted) gathering in DC, called the, "March For Justice" back in October 1998, not to mention personally working with Senator Ihholfe's office regarding the Chi-Coms taking over the now defunct Long Beach, CA Naval Station. I also didn't fund and help create a website about the threat of Chi-Coms with a wonderful lady has since gone on to work in DC.

I also didn't create the "With Love and Affection" slide show that is still on the home page of FR and VetsCoR got many kudos from in-country military back when we were invading Iraq, and we still get request for it.

I also wasn't Chairman of VetsCoR and use my own money to promote that org at various places, including Las Vegas, Branson, MO, and others. Yeah, I have no experience.

No, I don't have the experience of 10's of thousands around the country protesting, but I do have the experience of a few thousand that made some difference in impeaching Bill Clinton.

Sir, you and so many need to get past these stupid demonstrations and look at my post above for some real answers. NO ONE in DC cares if you are on their streets or other State streets.

"so blow it out of your ass. No disrespect meant..."

Sounds pretty disrespectful to me. I don't deserve it.

Key word is WORKING families . Most of the mass marches on DC were slugs on the welfare teat. Do it over a LONG weekend like President’s Day or something like that . Where there’s a will there’s a way .

“...despite Obama’s current popularity and his democratic election by U.S. voters. “It does not give him the right to transcend” the boundaries of presidential powers, DuMolin said. “He has promised a socialistic approach to government. That’s really very little difference from Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.”

Somewhere between:

tyranny<-—————>People’s Law<-—————>Anarchy

President 0bama has a responsibilty as to his oath of office. As our Founders noted in establishing the Constitution and the Presidency regarding extremism:

Jefferson’s comments about the fringe of the Federalist party and the responsibilty of the President.

“These men have no right in office. If a monarchist be in office, anywhere, and it be known to the President, the oath he has taken to support the Constitution imperiously requires the instantaneous dismission of such an officer; and I hold the President criminal if he permitted such to remain.”

What would happen if we held the President to the same standard today? In fact his responsiblity rests in the people. His duty is to hold the balance between tyranny and anarchy and instead he is in breach of his oath of office. Jefferson called such positions within the congress, criminal.

Once in a while in history, a political party must choose to either get as much money as possible or to get as many votes as possible. Once in a while, a political party cannot have both, and that once in a while can be a long period of time for mortal human beings.

http://falconparty.com/

Choose to get the votes or to see the default. Either way, we’ll see some national social corrections.

You certainly have direction Navy Vet, but in my honest opinion you are misguided. At least on this movement. But, go ahead, I am not stopping you. Just trying to give you some light.

You have an impressive history of activism the past few years. Keep up the good work! Turn to!

Good luck to you.

Sorry, but I don't think term limits are going to work. A selfish, ignorant electorate begets selfish, ignorant politicians. Term limits will only get you a new group of selfish, ignorant politicians.

Now, if you want to get their attention, tax their pensions at 90% like they did the AIG bonuses.

"Do you realize how many more issues there are going to be protests about? Second amendment rights, pro life, taxation, regulation, speech, government spending, defense, terrorism, religion freedom, etc. etc. etc. So, don’t go trying to create your own little minded faction. This is an American movement...let it happen."

You have no fucking idea how much I know about these issues. I was the Chairman of Veterans for Constitutional Restoration (VetsCoR on FR).

Watch, nothing will become of this. And the reason why? Because NO ONE bothered to focus the entire event on one or even two subjects. Public Relations 101.

Grow up if you want to make a difference. This is a good start, but no one, except for Glen Beck, didn't bother to explain the differences between the detriments of socialism and the benefits of capitalism.

I could do it two sentences...starting with, "Do you want to keep your own money?"...guess what the second sentence is...

Ok but don't forget history. Hitler won with less than 39% of the vote. Clinton won with less that 40% his first time. The DEMS will not give up their people in an election. We can not fight from a third party. From history third parties only work if the other party splits. I have not seen a DEM party split in this country. We have just pulled out elections by small margins. A third party just does not work. A third party will kills us and allow socialist to win more elections. They have also mastered cheating. You worked against Murtha first hand and saw what their machines do. The DEMS cheat and steal. The GOP must be taken back first. If not united in a whole party against the DEMS they will kick our butts for years to come.

I have studied the fall of the whig party but you have to match that with civil war. With the world wolves at the door, American civil war would not work well. With the new DHS you will have to fight a well armed federal army first. They are being trained right now.

Where to go with the tea parties?....You’ve both mentioned....

“The Nation is dying due to the encroaching socialism”

“Memorial day (coming up) is another great day to rally”

and me...see my tag line.

If we chose to keep it that simple, no way the media can misconstrue THAT message on THAT day, and it would keep the momentum going for 4th of July! Just a thought. I can picture a million folks, a sea of black, protesting just as we did, flags held high but “in distress”...because God only knows how much worse things will be...even by Memorial day! I don’t think Obama’s going to hold back on anything...he’s trying to ram though as much as he can while he’s got momentum and our heads are spinning.

Of course, flip side, our success/failure, rightly or not, will be measured by number of participants. Dwindling numbers could be problematic, even if the message is simple and clear. In which case, folks may be even less likely to want to continue. So, IMO, bottom line...the message HAS to be something everyone will want to get/stay on board!

Just my 2cents...thoughts?

Those are all good ideas, but we can't do any of them w/o control of the legislature. And I realize that the dhims are working overtime to prevent even the possibility of a comeback by the GOP.

I therefore believe that the most importantb activity we can engage in now is working on the 2010 midterm.

There needs to be a conservative protest organization. It is time for that and conservatives need to keep this movment going. And it should expand to include a sort of ‘Sons of Liberty’ type gathering because you can bet the scoundrels are going to go for silencing dissent. So you need to get ahead of their next movements. They are flagrantly looking to make this a fascist state with mock ‘elections’. Look at the Census with ACORN continuing on, look at their movement to give citizenship to illegals and all their hostile moves. That is the only way they could possibly keep power as they continue to push these socialist policies and things get worse and their messiah crashes and burns. The movement will only grow and should be continued.

It will come to that point and I agree that conservatives need to mimic the radical leftists in some of the protest tactics when they put in more of their radical policies. They have earned it and will have taught us well to organize and protest. The only thing they are good at.

“Section 8a of the United States Flag Code states, “The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.”

Can’t do it on a long weekend like President’s Day because most companies’ CEOs of diversity have decided that MLK day is a more important day to have as a holiday. Don’t get me wrong here, MLK day is important for a number of reasons, but it sure works to the politicians’ advantage.

Go ahead, try and protest the things we are fed up with on MLK day weekend and see what kind of coverage that will get the movement. You think they’re highlighting race now, that will open up an entirely new can of worms - a literal $h!%storm of race baiting and civil unrest.

The 4th of July works well - nearly everyone is off and it sets the right tone for the message that needs to be heard.
