I am getting tired of seeing daily threads about Meghan McCain almost daily on FR. I don't watch network TV, and honestly never heard of her until several weeks ago.
Could we just quit posting about her already, unless there is TRULY a news article that concerns her?????

She’s John McCain’s daughter. That’s her claim to fame. Please, she has no credibility at all. Her father WAS a hero. Now he’s just a confused old man who doesn’t know what he stands for. I agree. Just leave her out of this. The libs love her. That’s reason enough to ignore her.
Poor Meghan... little chubby chick’s being used like a dancing bear by the left... she’s hoping that this will be just what she needs to get included in the glam world of Hollywood liberals.
And they’re playing right along with it, laughing behind their backs at the fat little “Republican” girl who’s willing to grovel for admission to their putrid clique...
Right, her 15 minutes is up. Boycott her embarrassing self-aggrandizing.

I agree with a Megan ban.Her only purpose is to divide the opposition!

We have to stop ignoring those who would destroy us. She is a threat both politically and socially. We must continue to know and understand her brand of mental disorder
With this last exception, I, for one, will no longer respond to any thread about her. Just let ‘em die. If we all do it, it should cause her to go face down in a bag of Doritos. It’s the attention she’s craving. Let’s not give it to her. Let her see that no one here shows any interest in her whatsoever. Not even enough interest to ban threads about her.
But imposing a ban on her, gives her more importance than she really deserves.

You wrote “daily” and “almost daily”. So you are forgiven. I agree on banning the Meghan McCain threads, I cannot understand why they get any traction.
I’d be hard pressed to decide which pic is funnier: the AK-47 kitties or the Pancake Bunny. Either is better than having to hear from Meghan McC ever again.

thanks it’s about time somebody called this one in. I’m sick of her too, imho, she’s not newsworthy .
Problem is that to ban their mention creates blind spots in the news coverage.
Why not just ban ditzy items that contain no real news except the type that is normally confined to grocery check-out stand magazines.
IMHO she is a nothing, who has never held a serious job or position in her life and giving her so much attention only feeds the media continuing to push her as the “new” face of the GOP... soooooooooooooooooo PLEASE no more MMc stories... ignore her and hope she goes away.
I’m not slamming you for posting them, but I don’t find her amusing.
I find her vacuous, boring, trite, and of very little consequence. Sadly, this isn’t keeping her off the media radar.
Thus, I appreciate seeing threads on her, as she is what a lot of people are seeing as representative of Conservatives right now.
So, like you said - if you don’t like it, ignore it.
