Actually it was 52%. It was announced about 2 days after the election. It has been quoted here in several threads. We have had discussions about it and you get the usual "Catholic Basher" rant or they aren't "real" Catholics.

For some odd reason they call themselves Catholic and warm a pew every now and then. Many seem to get elected to high office by other Catholics.

One can only assume that the Kennedy's are "good Catholics", since they get re elected for everything by other Mass. Catholics. Biden, Pelosi, and Kerry seem to have a lock on the Catholic vote also.

If I suggest the Church should discipline them to make it clear they are NOT good Catholics, I get the bums rush here on FR to mind my own bidness and let the Church handle it's bidness.

There seems to be a war in the Church over killing babies and porking rearends trumps taxing the rich to give to the poor. The Jesuit arm of the Church seems to be winning. Jesuits arm terrorists in S. America and support killing officials to bring about social justice. Somewhere along the line they seem to have forgotten the other parts of Christianity. A vote for a Kennedy seems to nullify the baby killing as long as the unions get a better contract.
