Should have said temperature was 99 degrees. Last night, it was 103, and that is definitely a fever.

No one has given us any guidelines for what to do when you or a loved one gets sick.
I called my allergist and talked to them. They told me that the CDC is recommending that people with a fever and other flu like symptoms go to their primary care physician and get tested for swine flu. The allergist also said that the CDC is recommending tamiflu for treatment of suspected cases. The primary care physician is the person to give out the tamiflu.
I wouldn’t either if it’s down that much. But I’d continue watching her.
The drugs aren’t without some risk, at the start of the flu, without knowing whether it’s the swine flu or not, I think the drugs are the way to go.

That’s what I keep thinking! The authorities and media types keep saying: ‘it’s already here, there’s nothing we can do...closing the border is a waste of time, blahblahblah’!
It absolutely defies logic! The more diseased people running around, the more chances for contact between people and the more people will come down with this flu.
